Acting President Duwa Lashi La said not to lose sight of diplomacy with the South Asian countries in the northwest part of Myanmar. On November 15, Acting President said at the 74th cabinet meeting of the National Unity Government.

“I would like to suggest that the South Asian countries in the northwest part of Myanmar should spread in the field of international relations without turning a blind eye. We still need to connect as much as we can with countries like India and Bangladesh. We cannot lose face in the international arena regarding the Rohingya issue. There are works to be done to connect politically with regional countries such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the People’s Republic of China,” he said. NUG’s 74th cabinet meeting was attended by Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers, including Acting President Duwa Lashi La and Union Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than.
