1. Revolutionary funds from the people’s contributions for the Spring Revolution are being managed and spent properly

U Tin Tun Naing, Union Minister of Planning, Finance and Investment of the National Unity Government, publicized that about 100 million US dollars had been received from people’s contributions as the revolutionary funds for the Spring Revolution and that it was being properly managed and spent.

At a public meeting on the “Battle on the Economic Front” held in November, Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing said, “Obtaining the necessary financial funds for the revolutionary forces is also essential. I would like to publicize that, due to the trusting contributions of the people with the victory soul, we have received about 100 million US dollars in revolutionary funds up to now, and that those funds are being properly managed and spent.”

The National Unity Government is spending the proceeds from the sale of special treasury bonds and the sale of EOD shares for the revolution, and 95 percent of them are being spent on the defense budget.

2. NUG Union Minister Dr. Sasa says that all the background information on the cronies who deal arms to Min Aung Hlaing has been sent to international community

At the Live Charity Concert organized by the CDF-Matupi Fundraising Committee to raise fund for the CDF-Matupi comrades, Dr. Sasa, Union Minister of International Cooperation of the National Unity Government said, “If Min Aung Hlaing wants to buy arms, he cannot buy them himself. There are crony arms dealers who support him. We have already checked the backgrounds of all cronies in Myanmar and have already sent those information to the international community. There are some sanctions. This is also making the aerial bombardment less frequent.”

In October, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated three individuals, (U) Aung Moe Myint, (U) Hlaing Moe Myint, and (U) Myo Thitsar, for their roles related to the procurement of Russian-produced military arms from Belarus for the Myanmar regime under Executive Order 14014.

Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said the following at a meeting between the Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) of the National Unity Government and the administrative bodies of the special administration region on November 20:

“As the military council attempts to break the revolution in various ways, the members should unite; the most important thing in the revolution is unity and the participation of all people; to pay special attention to security when carrying out operations; and to carry out management in an orderly manner.”

Furthermore, the minister stated that the sufferings of the people on the ground have been witnessed, and that the revolution must be implemented and triumphantly overcome.

The heads and members of the administrative bodies of the special administration region and union ministers, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, director generals, and directors from the relevant ministries attended the meeting.

“When that side tried to get information from us in various ways, they used tricks such as spreading misleading information to squeeze out true information from us. I want everyone to be aware of this. And in some cases, we may not have been tricked by them but by ourselves, carelessly leaking information on social media,” said the press secretary.

Moreover, the press secretary said that it is important for revolutionary forces not to easily give phone numbers and addresses on social networks.
