We held a small ceremony in Washington, D.C., to introduce the foreign office of the National Unity Government to the Myanmar community in this region. It’s been two or three weeks since we opened our office.

During this period, in order to further expand the foreign affairs-related activities of the National Unity Government, there are the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Parliaments, and International Organizations [in Washington, D.C.]. Moreover, Washington, D.C., is also the city where the embassies are headquartered. Therefore, from Washington D.C., we are preparing to deal with our international affairs, foreign affairs, and issues to gain more support for the National Unity Government from the international community, and through this, we are also preparing to carry out issues that will greatly contribute to our revolution. And also with the Myanmar community, including all ethnic people here, we are preparing what we can do about foreign affairs and what we can coordinate about the revolution. We have also met with individuals and organizations that we should meet with and are working hard to make our work effective.

Those are the activities that we intend to carry out after opening our office. The Myanmar community here helps us with many things, and we also have a plan to work together with them to coordinate and implement our work.
