The PDF camp in Kin Taw Village near Ngazun was raided; Myanmar with increasing drug production after the military coup
Military council troops raided a PDF camp in Kin Taw Village in Sagaing Township, Sagaing Division, early in the morning, killing at least 15 PDF members and 3 civilians and confiscating weapons, as reported in the news media. Telegram channels supporting the military council are also writing in a very contented manner.
The military council troops raided the PDF camp in Kin Taw Village, which is located on the banks of the Irrawaddy River in Sagaing Division, at around 5:00 a.m. with a force of about 100. They shot dead PDF members and seized guns, cartridges, launchers, and rockets.
The PDF forces were ambushed early in the morning while they were sleeping with no security guards, so they were not in a position to defend themselves. There have been incidents of dozens of people’s defense forces being killed like this before. However, it happened in a situation before weapons and ammunition, such as self-propelled guns, were fully equipped, and this incident was a surprise attack by the enemy even though they had weapons and ammunition without taking security guards.
After the raid on the PDF camp in Kin Taw Village, the military council troops confiscated the weapons, and the military council telegram channels stated that these guns were produced by the KIA.
In a situation where the military council troops could not control many areas in Sagaing, it can be concluded that the PDFs formed locally underestimated the danger of the enemy invading.
It is reported in the news that not only the camp in Kin Taw Village was raided, but also the surrounding villages were invaded by a military council column of around 100 forces, arresting civilians and burning houses.
In the propaganda telegrams of the military council, there are some photographs showing that a party was held in a restaurant or dining room that night to honor the military that raided the PDF camp in Kin Taw Village. In recent days, news has been released that the military council soldiers who were injured in the battles have been sent to the Ngapali resort, and it seems that the military council is organizing their armed forces even more than before. It can also be said that the troops of the military council were victorious.
In other news today, $500 million worth of drugs were destroyed by the military council on World Drug Day. Although the military council usually destroys tons of drugs worth hundreds of millions of dollars every time World Drug Day comes, on the ground, it is seen that drug production in Myanmar is increasing year by year. Although the military council publishes the amount of drug burned, no one knows exactly how much is being produced on the ground. Especially after the coup, due to the weakness of law and order, the need for money, and bribery, the occurrence of armed protests, on the other hand, makes it an advantage for drug traffickers to manufacture and transport drugs. When the whole country is in turmoil politically and militarily, drug traffickers, growers, and producers produce more than the market demands, transport it through the country, in connection with international criminal gangs.
In the past 2 years, the amount of drugs produced and distributed in Myanmar has increased, and they are taking advantage of the armed conflict to produce a record.
