1. Defense Minister U Yee Mon says the victory is at hand because the military council could not withstand the united strength of the revolutionary forces

Defense Minister U Yee Mon said that victory is at hand because the military council could not withstand the united strength of the revolutionary forces.The defense minister added when speaking to PDF comrades on November 9.

“The special characteristic of the spring revolution is building unity on a common goal that everyone agreed. The military council will not be able to withstand our united force.

Our goal is very clear that we will establish a free and peaceful society where all ethnicities are equal after rooting out the military dictatorship,” the Minister said. It is reported that the National Unity Government, Ministry of Defense, and the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) have also agreed to cooperate in military operations.

It is reported that Daw Zin Mar Aung, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government, was invited to give remarks at the Global Townhall 2022 event held under the theme “Sustaining Peace and Development in a Divided World”. However, it was reported that the event organizers had to cancel the plan due to some pressure they faced. Deputy Foreign Minister U Moe Zaw Oo was also invited to participate in the ceremony, but he was unable to attend as the organizers faced similar pressures.

It is reported that the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration has a meeting with the Public Administration Groups from the Sagaing and Magway regions. It is necessary not to lose sight of the revolutionary work and the weekly meeting is to discuss the situation on the ground,” he said.

The meeting was led by the Joint Permanent Secretary and attended by the Public Administration Department, People’s Police, Fire Department, Immigration Department, Officials from the Special Investigation Department, and members of Public Administration Groups from the Sagaing and Magway regions.

The meeting was attended by the members of the Central Working Committee such as U Aung Kyi Nyunt, Dr. May Win Myint, and U Khin Saung. It is reported that a church and a primary school were damaged due to the military council’s airstrikes in the Sawmupalo village, Lu Thaw township, Karen state. The KNU center reported that the air force of the military council bombed the area on November 9, around 1:00 a.m.

“In the KNU’s Kawthoolei administrative area, Lu Thaw township, Karen state on November 9 at around 1:00 a.m., the terrorist military council troops targeted the public and bombarded by an airstrike in Sawmupalo village,” they said. A Christian church and an elementary school were damaged by the airstrikes. The exact number is still under investigation although houses living around the church were damaged.

7. GSCN issues an exhortation to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the demolition of the Kyaington palace

It is reported that GSCN issued an exhortation to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the demolition of the Kyaington palace. “On November 9, it has been 31 years since a group of power-crazed people demolished and destroyed Kyaington palace, a historical heritage of the Shan people,” GSCN said.

“No matter how the military dictators are rebuilding the fake palaces, the right to self-determination of the Shan state and the Shan people are still losing the truth and justice. Also, palaces that are built with the blood money must be opposed and let’s boycott the businesses and individuals that are involved” they said. Among the military-related businesses that have called for a boycott are Amazing Hotel Groups, Adventure Myanmar Travel and Tour, and Min Din Construction.
