NUG Union Minister Dr. Sasa gave a speech at the General Assembly of the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD)

On November 13, Dr. Sasa, Union Minister of International Cooperation of the National Unity Government, gave a speech via online at the 14th General Assembly of the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD), which was held in Iloilo City, Philippines.

The Union Minister said, “I was honoured to speak at the 14th General Assembly of the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD). I look forward to future regional cooperation and coalitions against disinformation, which has been weaponised by the genocidal military generals in Myanmar to continue their genocidal attacks against the 54 million people of Myanmar. Disinformation is the enemy of the truth, and where there is truth, there is freedom.”

The terrorist military is torturing and killing civilians and hiding the news with lies.

 

NUG Deputy Minister of Women, Youths and Children Affairs urges the public to provide security and support for urban revolutionary youth

On November 13, Daw Ei Thinzar Maung, Deputy Minister of Women, Youths and Children Affairs, urged the public to provide security and support for urban revolutionary youth.

“The revolutionary ideas and courage of urban youths are highly commended. Also, I would like to appeal to the public to participate in the security and support of urban revolutionary youths. These young urban revolutionaries are taking part in the most dangerous place to keep the revolution’s blood flowing. Please help and support these young people,” said Deputy Minister Daw Ei Thinzar Maung said.

Since the military coup in February 2021, public strikes against the military regime are still taking place in major cities.

 

In townships in northern Rakhine State, rice prices have risen from 35,000 kyats to 85,000 kyats per bag

On November 14, U Aung Kyaw Moe, advisor to the NUG Ministry of Human Rights, reveals that a 50-kg bag of rice that sold for 35,000 kyats now sells for 85,000 kyats in the townships in northern Rakhine State where the junta blocked access to it.

“In the townships in northern Rakhine State, where the military has blocked the entire supply chain, including humanitarian aid, the price of goods has increased by more than 200 percent. For example, a 50-kg bag of rice has gone from 35,000 kyats to 85,000 kyats. Civilians in Rakhine State are in need of a lot of assistance,” he said.

There are hundreds of thousands of civilians fleeing due to the ground and air operations of the terrorist military junta in Rakhine State.

In addition, the junta has also blocked humanitarian organizations from accessing IDP camps in Rakhine State.

 

The Interim Federal Nursing and Midwifery Council has issued practicing licenses for nurses and midwives

On November 13, the Interim Federal Nursing and Midwifery Council (IFNMC) announced the issuing of nursing and midwifery practice licenses.

It states, “Among the nurses and midwives who have applied for a license to the Interim Federal Nursing and Midwifery Council, nursing and midwifery practice licenses are being sent by email to those whose information has been verified and completed. Therefore, nurses and midwives who applied for practice licenses should double-check their emails, and contact can be made through the IFNMC’s telegram account at @fnmcmyanmar for detailed information.”

 

The Peacock Soldiers (LPDF) reports that short-circuited missiles are being produced daily

On November 14, the Peacock Soldiers local people’s defense force said that short-circuited missiles are being produced daily to fight against the military junta.

“The Peacock Soldiers-LPDF has been spending the support money of the public without wastage. Our comrades are trying every day to root out the military dictatorship. We, the Peacock Soldiers team, continue to produce short-circuited missiles every day to fight the military dictators,” said the Peacock Soldiers team.

The Peacock Soldiers-LPDF is a revolutionary force fighting against the military junta.

 

Donations collected in Sugamo Station, Japan, will be used to send warm clothes and blankets to Karenni IDPs

On November 14, the GenY for Revolution–Japan team announced that 50,000 yen of donations collected in front of Sugamo Station in Japan will be used to send warm clothes and blankets to those displaced by war in Karenni State.

It states, “On November 13, we received ¥50,000 in donations during a two-hour charity event in front of Sugamo Station. The money collected will be used to send warm clothes and blankets to Karenni IDPs.”

The GenY for Revolution–Japan team also said that they are grateful to the volunteers who came to help in the rain, the members of the GenY for Revolution–Japan team, the donor who provided soft drinks, and the RTM team.

 

Southern California Family’s November Burma Fundraiser will be held

On November 14, the LA NUG Supporters team announced that the Southern California family of the United States will hold a November Burma fundraiser.

It states, “The Southern California Family’s November Burma Fundraiser will be held on November 20. All loved ones in and around LA are cordially invited. Let us send love and sympathy to our brothers and sisters in domestic with food prepared with the generosity of 48 participants who participated during the short-term, 2-week invitation and their power of cooking and frying, as well as 77 types of accessories.”
