Within hours of FATF blacklisting, some of the real properties illegally acquired by the terrorist military junta were sold for nearly 9 million dollars
On October 22, U Tin Tun Naing, Union Minister of Planning, Finance and Investment, declared that within hours of FATF blacklisting, nearly 9 million were raised by selling some of the real properties illegally acquired by the terrorist military junta in Yangon.
“While the terrorist military dictators are destroying the country to the point where there is nothing left, the financial action task force (FATF) has blacklisted our country. Coincidentally, just hours apart from the blacklisting by FATF, we were able to sell some of the properties of the terrorist military in Yangon for nearly 9 million dollars in a few hours. Let us put the crazy dictators to an end with this strength, determination, and decision.”— Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing said.
The End of Dictatorship campaign has announced that nearly half of the 800 plots of land from the Spring Victory @SouthDagon, one of the projects of Phase II of the Spring Yangon Investment, have been sold.
It states, “We sold for 8.75 million USD in the first three hours, setting a new high for any spring investment project. Please take a look at the (40 ft x 60 ft) plots of Spring Victory @SouthDagon. 6,000 USD has to be paid during the revolution. However, up to three people can jointly purchase a plot and pay in three installments within three months. Therefore, many have reached out and almost half of the 800 plots of land have been sold.”
It is said that the EOD’s Spring Investment projects are mistakenly thought to be projects that only wealthy people can afford, but they are projects that people from all walks of life can participate in and invest in while supporting the revolution.
The NUG Federal Affairs Minister says that the CDM Movement needs to continue to be strong
At the meeting with Myanmar people in South Korea on October 23, Dr. Lian Hmung Sakhong, Union Minister of Federal Union Affairs of the National Unity Government, said that Min Aung Hlaing’s government mechanism was broken because of the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), and that the CDM movement needs to continue to be strong.
“We have seen that Min Aung Hlaing’s mechanism has broken because of the CDM movement. Therefore, the CDM movement needs to continue to be strong. We need to continue the movement.” — Union Minister Dr. Lian Hmung Sakhong said.
The Union Minister also added that the first weapon of the spring revolution, ground strikes, is still important and cannot be slowed down.
Tens of thousands of education and healthcare staff are still participating in the CDM movement.
The short film “The Road Not Taken” is premiering in four countries simultaneously
On October 23, the “The Road Not Taken” Film Screening Committee announced that the short film, “The Road Not Taken,” was premiered in four countries simultaneously.
It stated, “Ambassador U Kyaw Moe, who stood up for the people by not going along with the crowd, attended the film exhibition of the short film “The Road Not Taken” in New York. The film was screened in New York (U.S.A), Toronto (Canada), Switzerland, and Sweden on October 22, simultaneously, and it was known that every exhibition was filled to overflowing.”
The short film “The Road Not Taken” was directed by Film Director Ko Pauk and is based on a true story of a CDM captain in a revolutionary area.
According to Director Ko Pauk, the funds raised from showing the short film will be used to support the revolution.
The junta troops burned down Lin Kataw Village in the northeast part of Myaing Township
According to local news sources, on October 23, at 8:00 a.m., the junta troops started burning Lin Kataw Village, Myaing Township.
“The terrorist military council troops who arrived at Lin Kataw Village in the northeast part of Myaing Township yesterday burned down the village. It is not yet known how many houses were burned down,” they said.
In addition, it is reported that the terrorist military council troops, who spent the night in Wetkya Village in the eastern part of Myaing Township entered Mong Nyin village on a rampage at around 9:30 this morning.
The junta troops invaded Auk Te Village in Kanbalu Township, and started shooting rampant this morning
According to the Kawlin Revolutionary (KR) team, on the morning of October 23, the junta troops invaded the villages in Kanbalu Township in a column.
It stated, “The military council troops are invading Auk Te Village in Kanbalu Township. The civilians arrested yesterday have been released, and there are civilians who have been arrested today.”
The military junta troops have been targeting civilians in the Townships and have burned down more than 36,000 houses and buildings across the country.
