The Union Minister of Defense says that every battalion that has been recognized as a PDF is being provided possible support by the ministry

U Yee Mon, Union Minister of Defense, said in a program of public questions and answers.

“Currently, the process of recognizing PDFs is coordinated with key ministries and Military Regional Command. Battalions already recognized as PDFs will be eligible for possible support from the Ministry of Defense (MOD). This support also includes the monthly ration supply for each battalion.”

In addition, the Ministry of Defense has already certified and registered four battalions of Bo Nagar in Yin Mar Pin Township, and the Military Regional Command has already started arming them, the minister added.

At present, there are about 250 battalions registered with the MOD.

Anyone who donates and supports Project Skywalk will receive a certificate of appreciation signed by the Union Minister of Defense

In August, Ko Htain Linn, a pro-democracy activist who actively participates in revolutionary fundraising campaigns, said, “Friends told me that they don’t know where to donate. You can send me money for Project Skywalk. It has to be sent with Zelle and requires to fill a name and email address in the form. After completing the form, a certificate of appreciation signed by the Minister of Defense will be sent by email.”

It is expected that Project Skywalk will be able to raise up to USD 1 million during the 2-week campaign period from August 30 to September 15, in order to effectively install strategic equipment for drone squads fighting on the ground.

Project Skywalk is a fundraising campaign led by Naing Kaung Ywut, Deputy Minister of Defense of the National Unity Government, and managed by the Finance Department and the Public Relations Team.

The Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe says during the public demonstration that Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun’s continued presence at the United Nations is important for the Spring Revolution

Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Union Minister of the National Unity Government, addressed the public through video at the public demonstration held in Saw Township to show support for the National Unity Government (NUG) and call for the United Nations to accept the people’s government and to allow the incumbent Permanent Representative of Myanmar, Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, to continue his representation of the people of Myanmar.

“Today’s demonstration is about our UN Special Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, who stood with the people and spring revolution, and let the world know with three fingers, we must raise the people’s voice and the will of the people in order to continue to get a place in the United Nations. Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun’s continued presence at the United Nations is important for our revolution.” — the Union Minister said.

Union Minister also added that although the United Nations does not have special support for the people of Myanmar, it is standing with the people and the spring revolution. Accepting the representative sent by the military council instead of standing with the people of Myanmar could cause difficulties in the revolution.

The public demonstration was led by the Youth Force (Saw-Kyaukhtu), and the Saw Township People’s Administration and village defense forces also participated.

The safety and security of over ten thousand students, teachers, and members of the union-born ethnic groups such as Chin, Burma, etc., was provided at the event.

The Union Minister Dr. Tu Hkawng says that as long as the terrorist military spends dollars to maintain its power without any control and without budget allocation, the dollar price will skyrocket

On September 5, Union Minister Dr. Tu Hkawng posted on social media.

“The reason why the dollar exchange rate is rising is that some of the modern military weapons and all the items that are put in military planes, including aviation fuel, have to be bought with dollars. So, all the people of Myanmar suffer the consequence of the military leaders’ going to Russia and paying those costs frequently. The dollar will skyrocket if used without any control and without budget allocation in order for the military dictators maintain their power.” — the Union Minister Dr. Tu Hkawng said.

Currently, the military council is desperately controlling the reference gold price and the reference market dollar exchange rate, but the family members of the military regime themselves are increasing their purchases.

U Aung Myo Min, Union Minister of Human Rights, explained the destruction of public houses by the terrorist military.

“In recent incidents, a pattern of re-applying the strategy used by the military in the past can be seen. The ‘Four Cuts’ strategy that has been consistently used against ethnic borders and used in the “clearance operations” in Rakhine State is being used by the military. It can be seen that it is used to speed up again.” — the Union Minister U Aung Myo Min said.

At present, in Mrauk-U, Rakhine State, the terrorist military is targeting civilians with air raids and attacking and arresting civilians by using excessive force.
