Acting President, Duwa Lashi La, says that oppressive laws, including the 1982 Burma Citizenship Law, will be repealed and amended

The Acting President, Duwa Lashi La, said that the National Unity Government will repeal and amend oppressive laws, including the 1982 Burma Citizenship Law, which causes violations of human rights and discrimination.

Acting President Duwa Lashi La added this at a friendly meeting, held on August 29 at 7:00 p.m., between the National Unity Government and the Rohingya people who have taken refuge in Bangladesh.

“The National Unity Government is particularly saddened by the fact that over one million Rohingya people have become displaced refugees and are still homeless due to the terrorist acts committed by the Myanmar military with the intention of making the Rohingya people disappear. In addition, the National Unity Government has made a commitment to repeal, amend, and replace the oppressive laws, including the 1982 Burma Citizenship Act, which causes violations of human rights and discrimination,” the Acting President said.

The Acting President added that the National Unity Government was committed to working with the Rohingya people, ethnic organizations, the government of Bangladesh and the United Nations to make efforts for the Rohingya people to return home.

Union Prime Minister, Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, said that the National Unity Government is trying to create appropriate conditions for the Rohingya refugees, who are taking refuge in neighboring countries, to return home with dignity.

The Union Prime Minister said this at a friendly meeting between the National Unity Government and the Rohingya people, who have taken refuge in Bangladesh, on August 29 at 7:00 p.m.

“I would like to reiterate that the National Unity Government is working with the Rohingya people, ethnic organizations, the Bangladesh government, and the United Nations to create suitable conditions for the return of the Rohingya refugees, who are sheltering in neighboring countries, with their own consent, dignity, and security,” said the Union Prime Minister.

At the meeting, the Union Prime Minister delivered an opening speech, and the Ministry of Human Rights made a statement about the attitude of the National Unity Government towards the Rohingya people and the efforts being made regarding the Rohingya people.

 

The Project Skywalk urges the public to help deliver parcels (grenades) by air to the Military Council’s camps more quickly

In the last week of August, the Project Skywalk announced, “Let us deliver parcels to the camps to take down the military council. Contribute financially and entrust the Skywalker fighters with the task of delivering the parcels. Please help us so that we can send more parcels.”

The Ministry of Defense is working to raise at least one million US dollars through Project Skywalk.

Currently, the drone teams that are working in connection with Project Skywalk are Force for Federal Democracy, Falcon Wings, People Force, ABCD, Butterfly, Golden Eagle, and Mandalay PDF. In addition, other drone teams are also included according to each state.

The NUG Ministry of Health announced on August 30 that NUG will provide free consultations for mental health problems and emotional difficulties.

The announcement states, ” For a free (free) consultation on mental health issues and emotional difficulties:

  • Telehealth Clinic, a service provided by the Ministry of Health (MOH), National Unity Government.
  • Counseling Service provided by the Ministry of Women, Youths and Children Affairs (MOWYCA) of the National Unity Government
  • Mind Healer, a service provided by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management (MOHADM) of the National Unity Government.”

The NUG Ministry of Health announced on August 30 that NUG will provide free consultation services for mental health problems and emotional difficulties.

The announcement said, “Free consultation can be made at the Telehealth Clinic, a service provided by the Ministry of Health Service (MOH), the National Unity Government.”

The Special Task Agency of Burma (STA) said that it carried out the attack at 6:00 a.m. on August 30 near the intersection of the 18-turn stop on Maungmagan Road in South Dagon Township.

It said, “We attacked a double cab, dropping two members of the terrorist military and two policemen under the military for guarding, with mines. The car was damaged and two members of the terrorist military were injured.”

The Special Task Agency of Burma (STA) reported that they will continue to exterminate the pillars of the military, including the Military Council.

 

Four members of the Military Council who went out to search for mushrooms in Zee Phyu Kone (a village dominated by Pyu Saw Htee men) Village, Pale Township, Sagaing Division, were shot and killed

The Pearl Battalion-1 (Royal Eagle PDF) reported the military news on August 30.

It stated, “After hiding and waiting for three days, our Pearl Battalion-1 (Royal Eagle PDF) shot four members of the Military Council coming out of Zee Phyu Kone (a village dominated by Pyu Saw Htee men) Village, Pale Township, at about 7:00 a.m. on August 29th. One of them was killed, and one was wounded, and they retreated to the village without being able to pick up the dead body.”

It was also known that the remaining dead body was picked up at 8:45 a.m. and cremated at 9:55 a.m.

The Pyu Saw Htee members of the Military Council who were affected by this were not satisfied, and while they patrolled around the village with a force of 15 people, they clashed again with the Pale PDF ambush at about 2:50 p.m., and a member of the Military Council was injured.

 

The military junta lost its temporary camp in Than Seik Village in Shwegyin Township, Bago Division

On August 30, Bago Division People’s Defence Force Battalion-3702 (BPDF Yoma) said, “At 5:00 a.m. today, Than Seik camp of the military junta in Shwegyin Township was captured. While those guys ran away, they attacked the village with heavy weapons, killing one villager and injuring three.”

At present, it is reported that the military junta troops have increased their strength near the village and are re-marching again.
