In his speech about the crimes committed by the military troops in August, U Aung Myo Min, NUG Minister of Human Rights, said that an offer of cooperation to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) had been made.

“Regarding what was committed against the Rohingya in Myanmar, we accept the judgement of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Moreover, we will cooperate with the ICJ in order to bring the case to justice. We also made a clear statement that NUG had advised the ICJ that Myanmar accepts the jurisdiction,” Union Minister U Aung Myo Min said.

At present, the delegation led by U Ko Ko Hlaing, who was appointed by the military junta, attended the ICJ Court, and the ICJ Court confirmed that it has jurisdiction to hear the case against Myanmar.

The Union Minister U Soe Thura Tun says that the establishment of a federal democracy will only succeed with the spirit of success of the people

Union Minister U Soe Thura Tun said this at the opening ceremony of raffle tickets for the “Mother’s Gift, Mother’s Hand Fan” held on the evening of August 26.

“At a time when we were speeding up to develop the country and when we were implementing freedom and justice, it was like we encountered a lunar eclipse. But the people are still participating in and helping in the revolution. I believe that the establishment of a federal democracy in this people’s spirit of success will be successful,” Union Minister U Soe Thura Tun said.

Public movements against the military dictatorship emerged after the military seized power illegally on February 1, 2021.

As part of the “Nan Htike Aung Urban Operation” of SOF, a bomb attack was conducted on the convoy of township councilors of the military council who came to the coconut tree planting ceremony in Let Khoke Kone village, Kun Gyan Gone Township

At 8:30 am on August 27, the Special Operations Forces (SOF) conducted a military operation against the convoy of the members of the military council who came to the coconut tree planting ceremony in Let Khoke Kone village, Kun Gyan Gone Township.

“At 8:30 am this morning, we attacked the convoy of township councilors and local administrators who worked for the military council, soldiers and police, who came to the coconut tree planting ceremony in Let Khoke Kone village, Kun Gyan Gone Township,” said the Special Operations Forces.

It is reported that many of military-backed personnel were injured, and vehicles were also damaged.

The attack is part of the implementation of the Nan Htike Aung Urban Operation of the Southern Military Region and it was carried out by SOF Squad-7 (EAGLE SQUAD) based in Yangon Operation Area 6.

The SPECIAL OPERATION FORCE (SOF) is the special combat and assault force of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government.

Five soldiers were killed this morning when a terrorist military column that departed from Nyaung Pin village on the west side of the dam in Kyung Hla Township was hit with a mine

The Kyun Hla activists’ group confirmed that the mine attack was carried out by the UG force on the west side of the dam at 11:20 am on August 27.

They said, “The LIB 361 and LIB 369 (under the No.10 Operation Command Headquarters in the Northwestern Military Command Region) that departed from Nyaung Pin village on the west side of the dam in Kyung Hla Township were attacked by the UG force on the west side of the dam near the cemetery of Pe Pin Chong village.”

According to initial reports, five soldiers were killed.

“Tha” ward administrator’s office in North Okkalapa Township was blown up with a handmade remote-controlled mine last night

The Union of Myanmar Civil Defence (UMCD) News and Information reported that on August 26, around 9:09 p.m., a handmade remote-controlled mine was detonated in the “tha” ward administrator’s office in North Okkalapa Township while military intelligence officers were present.

“In the presence of plain clothes, which are believed to be military intelligence officers, the UMCD and its ally Rawt Malan HpyenLa (RMH) joined forces and detonated a handmade remote-controlled mine,” the Union of Myanmar Civil Defence (UMCD) said.

It is also said that, after the attack, screams were heard from inside, and according to the latest reports, four high-ranking military personnel have been killed.

Raffle tickets for “Let’s Fight with Mother’s Dress” are sold by actor Min Maw Kun in Sydney, Australia

On August 27, the raffle tickets were sold by actor Min Maw Kun at the “Let’s Fight with Mother’s Dress” fundraising event held in Sydney, Australia.

“This event is my promotion of the sale of raffle tickets for mother’s dress. The main thing is that the demand for the revolution is increasing day by day. This is because the people are being persecuted more and more by the military council. The main need for the success of the revolution is money,” actor Min Maw Kun said.

The raffle ticket for the mother’s dress will be sold until September, and aims to raise US$ 1 million.

50% of the proceeds from the sale of the mother’s dress raffle tickets will be used to support the arms production of the Ministry of Defense; 25% for the PDF and urban guerrillas; and 25% for comrades who have lost their limbs.

“If we meet the main needs of the revolution quickly, there are hundreds of thousands of our comrades waiting to fight today. If only these comrades could get weapons, the entire country would be able to open a war front,” actor Min Maw Kun added.

The mother’s dress is the same dress worn by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi when traveling for the 2012 by-election in Kawhmu Township.

Most of the non-CDM academic staff who are hoping to be promoted may resign because they are disappointed with the military council

It is said that most of the non-CDM academic staff who work in basic education schools are experiencing promotions and transfers that do not happen as expected; the next person gets promoted; and they are promoted, but their assignments are too far away.

“I’m on the list of promotions, but I’m going to decline it because the school is not the one I had applied for and it is too far away. It has only been 2 years since I returned to the school near my village. The previous time I was assigned to another township. I’m fed up with this field of education,” said a non-CDM academic staff member.

The military council is currently persuading academic staff to be promoted and transferred, and giving them excessive responsibilities.
