1.       Union Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung says that the Spring Revolution, which is being participated by all generations, is also a revolution in that we will have to end the dictatorship in order to fulfill the responsibility that has not been fulfilled

Union Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung said this in her memorial speech about the revolution in the special edition of the 34th anniversary of the 8888 Uprising in August. 

“Democratic political awareness was enlightened in the 8888 Uprising and it is because of the legacy of 1988 that the unfinished journey has been passed on from generation to generation, and that they are still on the journey until the Spring Revolution.

The generations –  who passed on the awareness that ‘it was not finished.. The goal has not been reached.. The responsibility has not been finished..’

These 8888 memorable moments also reveal the bravery and responsibility fulfillment of the young generations of all ages. The Spring Revolution participated by the various generations with this spiritual legacy is also a revolution that will end the dictatorship in order to fulfill the responsibility that has not been fulfilled,” said the minister.

On 7 September 2021, the National Unity Government announced the start of the People’s Resistance and War.

 

2.       Human Rights Minister says that the Terrorist Military Council is working with the trick of holding an election to lower the tide of revolution

 

U Aung Myo Min, Minister of Human Rights, says that the Terrorist Military Council is working with the trick of holding an election to lower the tide of revolution.

During an interview with a news agency in August, Human Rights Minister U Aung Myo Min said, “As for the terrorist military council, they use various tricks to reduce the activities of the revolution and lower the tide of revolution. Those actions include a promise to hold the election that they are doing now. The election that the military dictators will hold is a way to create legitimacy that they cannot talk about internationally. There is no way we will allow the military council to gain international recognition.”

The terrorist regime that destroyed the results of the 2020 election has deceived the public that they will re-hold elections in 2023.

 

3.       A large time bomb was used to detonate the hotel of the military-owned Myanmar Economic Holdings Ltd. (MEHL) in Thaketa where fuel tanker trucks were parked

The Soul Takers – Yangon Underground Force reported, “We, Soul Takers – Yangon Underground Force, detonated a large time bomb in the vicinity of Hotel of the Myanmar Economic Holdings Ltd. (MEHL) in Thaketa, where military-owned fuel tanker trucks were parked. Due to the superior strength of plainclothes junta soldiers ambush-patrolling, there were exchanges of fire and we had to retreat.”

It is also reported that although there were counter-attacks, the Soul Takers’ comrades were able to retreat unharmed.

 

4.       Myaung Fighter Defense Force’s Production Center will produce 30 handmade shotguns that can be fired with Indian bullets 

On 11 August, Myaung Fighter Defense Force reported, “There are shotguns produced by comrades of Myaung Fighter Defense Force Production Center (1) that can fire Indian bullets. It can be said to be better than Chin-made because it saves even if it is shot with one ball. We will produce 30 shotguns.”

Currently, the production cost of a gun is around 200,000 kyats.

Myaung Fighter Defense Force is also a revolutionary force that is fighting against the military junta.

 

 

5.       NUG Irrawaddy Division Military Region Sub-Command announces that effective military plans will be developed

On 11 August, Irrawaddy Division Military Region Sub-Command released Announcement (1/2022).

The announcement stated, “Irrawaddy Division Military Region Sub-Command will cooperate with the local people’s defense forces, STF, UG, and LDF forces according to the townships in the Irrawaddy Region and work diligently to develop effective military plans to comply with the military code of conduct established by the Ministry of Defense.”

Irrawaddy Division Military Region Sub-Command was formed and commissioned by the Ministry of Defense in July.

 

 

6.       Buy2Donate-B2D bought a handgun for the Sittaung Urban Guerrilla Force in Nay Pyi Taw

On 11 August, Buy2Donate-B2D announced, “We got a handgun for Nay Pyi Taw force. The assassination of the martyrs, including Ko Jimmy and Ko Zeya Thaw, made us put in more effort. We want to fulfill our responsibility concerning the sacrifice of the martyrs. As a debt claim plan, Buy2Donate-B2D buy a handgun for the Sittaung Urban Guerrilla Force in Nay Pyi Taw today.”

They said that Nay Pyi Taw area was a place where heroes PDF-UG should always carry a handgun with them.

Moreover, they also said that within a day or two, Buy2Donate-B2D would purchase a drone for the comrades.

 

7.       It has reached a total of 2174 people killed by the terrorist military regime

On 10 August, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) released a daily briefing.

According to AAPP, since the 1 February 2021 military coup and the emergence of the Spring Revolution, a total of 2174 people, pro-democracy activists and other civilians have been killed through military crackdown following pro-democracy movements. On 1 August, junta forces attacked and raided Letpan Kyin Village, Myinmu Township in Sagaing Region, with 5 helicopters. On 6 August, they killed a villager named Naing Linn. After being taken hostage, Naing Linn was shot in the back near Bawdi Tahtaung Pagoda, and died.

 

8.       NUGPay explains how to do when the Login key was forgotten

On 11 August, the NUGPay expressed the way to retrieve the Login key from NUGPay App.

It stated, “You need to remember the Login key to log back into your NUGPay account. We will share a method to retrieve it If you have installed the NUGPay App on your phone, but have forgotten the login key. To retrieve it, go to the NUGPay App on your device, click on ‘View login key’, and then, press on ‘Long press to reveal’ a little longer and enter your 6-digit PIN. “
