“To be a worthy artist, do not treat your art like selling vegetable for a price. Turning your back on your art is giving up your national identity and cultural value. The better the art, the higher will be our society. Lesser the art, our nationality be seen as less.  All the artists were to be forefront of our community, not the destroyer. Look to the World through artistic vision. Do not forget as being a Burmese. You have to leave behind your Art as a part of history not a piece of garbage. I am hoping that you might aware how great the responsibility is upon you as an artist towards your country and your society.”

Said Maung Yin Aung quoting late U Thu Kha, a great film artist of all time in Burmese history, at the Burmese Academy Award Ceremony at “Nay Pyi Day”.
