The attack reportedly began at 5:45 a.m. on March 11 and targeted the camp in Taungya Kam village, the police station in Auk Paung village, Let Har Taung where the junta drone unit was based, Pulaw town, and sentry posts protecting the police station.

At around 8:30 a.m. on March 14, the Taungya Kam camp was fully captured, and a large cache of weapons and ammunition was seized.
The operation was jointly carried out by KNLA Brigade (4) Special Force, KNLA Battalions (12) and (27), KNDO Battalion (7), Companies (1) and (5), and the Dawei National Liberation Army (DNLA).

The headquarters of the Myeik air base in Tanintharyi Region was attacked by resistance forces using drones and bombs, killing 10 junta troops, while some defensive outposts of the Lone Ton camp in Mohnyin Township were seized by a KIA joint force.
At around 4:00 a.m. on March 14, the soldiers’ barracks at Myeik air base were reportedly hit by drone-dropped bombs resembling 120 mm shells, which landed directly on the building and exploded.
As a result of the attack, 10 air force personnel were killed and many others injured. The same air base had also come under artillery fire on March 12.
Similarly, on the night of March 12, the Ketumati Air Base in Taungoo, Bago Region, was attacked by allied forces led by Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) using eighteen 107 mm short rockets, 13 of which exploded inside the air base.
In Kachin State, in the Indawgyi area of Mohnyin Township, the Lone Ton camp jointly manned by junta troops and the SNA (Shanni militia) was attacked by a KIA-PDF joint force on the night of March 13.
During the fighting, some outposts were captured. Six bodies of SNA soldiers, 13 weapons, and ammunition were seized, and some prisoners of war were reportedly taken.
It was also reported that junta troops fled first when the battle began, leaving the SNA members to bear the brunt of the attack, which led to the high casualties.
The Lone Ton camp is described as a strategically important base linking Hpakant, Hopin, and Mohnyin, and offensives are continuing in an effort to fully capture it.
⸻ - Fierce clashes erupt in Kutkai between Northern Brotherhood allies MNDAA and TNLA; civilians harmed, NUCC urges immediate halt
m.CDM, March 14
In Kutkai Township, northern Shan State, intense fighting broke out in at least five locations starting on the morning of March 14 between TNLA and MNDAA, both members of the Northern Brotherhood Alliance, and civilian casualties have been reported.
Besides Kutkai town, fighting was also intense in Man Pyain, Mai Yu Lay, Nam Taung, and Ka Lyan villages. The Kokang army (MNDAA) reportedly launched offensives and seized government offices and key locations in Kutkai town, and is now said to be preparing defensive positions there.
During the clashes, artillery shelling caused homes in Kutkai town to catch fire and be destroyed, while some residents of Namhpatkar and Mai Yu Lay were injured by bomb shrapnel.
Because the fighting erupted suddenly, civilians reportedly had no time to flee and were forced to hide in forests and mountains. Local residents also said that the MNDAA detained some youths from villages near Kutkai.
In addition, at Muse 105-Mile Trade Zone, where the Three Brotherhood Alliance had jointly stationed troops, the MNDAA reportedly disarmed and detained TNLA personnel.
At present, along the gates in Kutkai, Namhpatkar, and the Union Highway, the MNDAA is reportedly removing TNLA camps and intensifying military operations to assert territorial control.
“MNDAA Statement”
Regarding the clashes, the MNDAA Military Committee said that relations between the two sides had been damaged because, during February, the TNLA allegedly beat and expelled MNDAA administrative staff and intended to encroach into Hsenwi District. It said that it had informed the TNLA of the matter five times, but the TNLA ignored it.
It further stated that today’s clash began because the TNLA first ambushed an MNDAA patrol, and therefore all subsequent problems must be the responsibility of the TNLA.
The statement added that although the MNDAA values the friendship of the allied Brotherhood, if its dignity is trampled upon, it will resist with all its strength.
“TNLA Response”
TNLA spokesperson Ma Lway Yay Oo responded that the MNDAA statement does not match the realities on the ground, and that it was in fact the MNDAA that began the attack at around 9:30 a.m.
The TNLA criticized the MNDAA for trying to resolve problems through military means rather than political dialogue, and warned that if such conflicts continue, they could harm not only allied relations but also the goals of the Spring Revolution.
The TNLA also said it had tried to arrange talks before the fighting broke out, but at present there is still no situation in which discussions can be held.
“NUCC Appeal”
On March 14, the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) issued an appeal urging that armed clashes between allies be stopped immediately.
The NUCC called on them to preserve the unity shown during “Operation 1027” and warned that special caution is needed at a time when the military group is using every possible means to sow division among revolutionary forces.
It said disputes among revolutionary forces should be viewed as partner conflicts and resolved peacefully through dialogue, and emphasized that under the principle of bottom-up federalism, the will of the people must be respected.
The NUCC added that it regards both the MNDAA and TNLA as brothers and sisters of the Union and as allies against military dictatorship, and it stands ready to help support political dialogue if needed.
⸻ - NUG says it will do everything possible to secure justice for those killed by the military group and to assist surviving families and displaced civilians
m.CDM, March 14
The National Unity Government (NUG) announced on March 14 that it will do everything possible to restore justice for every civilian harmed and killed by the terrorist military group, and will also prioritize providing effective humanitarian assistance to surviving families and displaced civilians.
This was stated in a declaration regarding the mass killing of civilians in Nyaunglebin Township.
The statement said:
“For each and every civilian who has been harmed and killed, the National Unity Government will make every possible effort through all available means to ensure justice is restored. We will also place great importance on delivering effective humanitarian assistance to surviving families and displaced civilians.”
During the nearly five years in which the terrorist military has been attempting to unlawfully seize the people’s power, it has repeatedly carried out airstrikes causing mass civilian deaths.
According to data collected up to March 10 this year by the NUG Ministry of Human Rights, the terrorist military committed 5,041 air attack incidents using jet fighters, drones, gyrocopters, and paramotors, totaling 10,651 airstrikes.
Those attacks killed 5,075 civilians. There were also 520 mass killing incidents in which at least five people were killed, resulting in 5,505 deaths.
The NUG Ministry of Human Rights also urged the international community not to ignore these brutal atrocities and war crimes, but to take effective action immediately, including stopping the sale and export to the terrorist military of aircraft, weapons and ammunition, aviation fuel, and other fuels.
It also strongly urged that no legitimacy whatsoever be granted to the sham parliament and fake government set up by the terrorist military.
⸻ - Junta attacks Plot Ta Pot displacement camp in Lay Kay Kaw area with suicide drones; one displaced civilian killed and about 3,000 forced to flee again
m.CDM, March 14
The Plot Ta Pot (A Moe Pya) displacement camp near the Thaungyin River along the Thai-Myanmar border in Myawaddy Township, Karen State, was attacked by junta forces using kamikaze drones, killing one displaced civilian and seriously injuring another.
At around 10:30 a.m. on March 14, the junta launched four suicide drones. Two of them reportedly landed and exploded directly on the clinic area inside the camp.
As a result, a male villager from Lay Kay Kaw was killed instantly, and another man suffered serious injuries.
The camp shelters around 3,000 displaced people from Lay Kay Kaw, Phlu, Min Let Pan, Yathe Gu, Mae Hto Thalay, and Mae Wa Khee villages. Junta forces had reportedly been shelling the camp continuously with heavy weapons since the morning.
At present, displaced civilians are trying to cross the Thaungyin River to seek refuge on the Thai side, but are anxious about whether they will be accepted, and are trapped by the ongoing fighting.
Heavy clashes are currently taking place near the Min Let Pan and Yathe Gu areas between junta forces and allied resistance troops, while junta bases at Swaltaw Kone and Letkhat Taung are providing artillery support.

For its effort to retake Falam, the terrorist military reportedly sent more than 200 reinforcements from Kale in Sagaing Region on March 11, and has split them into three columns positioned around Khuang Li, Sumhrang, and Lumbang villages, resulting in continuing clashes with Chin resistance forces.

On March 10, Ko Wanna Aung, a man in his twenties who had served as a PDF fighter for three years, reportedly stole ammunition and fled to the junta’s Light Infantry Battalion (50), based in Gangaw.
He is from Pyitma village in Gangaw Township and had joined the resistance through CDM from Min Ywar police station in 2023. It is also reported that the junta has taken his parents and is holding them at Artillery Battalion (371).
Because he is said to know the locations and internal matters of resistance forces, revolutionary groups have warned those connected with him to take special security precautions.
Previously, on February 1, another Gangaw-based PDF fighter defected to the junta with his weapon.
In Yesagyo Township, Magway Region, on March 12 and 13, two local defense camps in Zinkoing village and Kan Thit village were raided, and six defense fighters were killed.

⸻ - U Kyaw Moe Tun warns that the scale of the catastrophe caused by the military group’s insane lust for power is growing shockingly
m.CDM, March 14
Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun, warned that the scale of the man-made catastrophe caused by the military group’s insane lust for power is growing at an astonishing level.
He made the remarks at a high-level meeting on violence against women and girls during the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
The ambassador said in his speech that since the military unlawfully seized power in Myanmar, systematic violence against the entire civilian population has escalated, and that within that violence, women and girls are being treated with particular brutality.
A UN report has stated that the widespread sexual and gender-based violence and other atrocities committed by the military group amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The ambassador said that women in ethnic areas had endured for decades the military group’s deliberate use of violence against women as a weapon of war, and that these horrifying acts have now spread throughout the entire country.
He also explained to participants that the junta’s forced conscription is worsening the current crisis and pushing women into a state of fear, where they face the risk of arbitrary arrest and abuse.
Despite confronting such brutal atrocities by the military group, he said the resilience of Myanmar women is an invaluable asset for the country.
As a positive development, he also shared that a Myanmar Women, Peace and Security Position Paper, jointly issued by women-led civil society organizations, had now begun to be distributed.
