📌📌 1. Photos Emerge of Downed Military Aircraft in Hpasawng Township

It has been confirmed that a military-owned aircraft has crashed in Hpasawng Township, Kayah (Karenni) State, according to revolutionary news sources from the region and U Nay Phone Latt, spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office of the National Unity Government (NUG).
According to the military council’s own statement, one of their fighter jets disappeared from radar and lost communication on the evening of July 1, while conducting long-range training flight operations approximately 130 kilometers southeast of Nay Pyi Taw.
This incident marks the fourth military aircraft crash in 2025. On June 10, during the battle to capture the Kant Daunt base in Pearl Township, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) shot down a Chinese-made F-7 fighter jet, resulting in the pilot’s death. Earlier, on May 20, in Bhamo, Kachin State, the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) shot down three military helicopters sent for reinforcement; two Mi-17 helicopters were destroyed, killing at least 18 soldiers.

📌📌 2. Second Intake for Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Program to Expand Healthcare Coverage in Underserved Areas of Chinland

To expand healthcare coverage in the most underserved areas of Chinland, the second intake for the Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery program is now open.
In response to the severe shortage of healthcare human resources in Chinland, the Interim Council of Myanmar Nursing and Midwifery Training Schools, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Sports under the Government of Chinland, launched the three-year Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery program in November 2024.
Now, applications are open for the second intake. Interested applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by requesting the application link via Messenger or by contacting the respective local administrative bodies. The application deadline is July 31, 2025, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Health and Sports, Government of Chinland.
Enrollment quota: 70 students
Course duration: 3 years
Eligibility criteria:
- Must be under 25 years of age
- Must have passed university matriculation prior to 2021, or
- Must have passed NUG-recognized Grade 10 (old system) or Grade 12 exams after 2021

📌📌 3. Four Newly Recruited Soldiers Escape with Three Firearms from Northwest Military Command after Being Forcibly Conscribed

According to the People’s Defense Team of Monywa Township, four newly recruited soldiers who had been forcibly conscripted at the Northwest Regional Military Command based in Monywa, Sagaing Region, have defected with three firearms.
On July 3, the four conscripts made contact with the People’s Defense Force under District 2 of the People’s Defense Team (PaKaPha) and successfully defected with their weapons.
Reports indicate that these four young men were abducted and forcibly conscripted by administrators under the terrorist military council, who threatened them into serving in place of the sons of wealthy families.
While serving in the military, they were warned by officers that if they defected to the PDF, all their personal belongings would be confiscated and they would be executed.
The Monywa Township People’s Defense Team stated that any individuals who were abducted into military service and now wish to defect will be welcomed.
It is also reported that arrangements are being made to provide monetary rewards to those who defect and surrender their arms.

It has been announced that donations toward building a full hospital unit as part of the “Safe Hospital, Safe Healthcare” Campaign will continue to be accepted through Spring CrowdFund (SCF) until July 5.
Although the “Safe Hospital, Safe Healthcare” Campaign officially concluded on June 30, contributions specifically intended to fully fund one hospital unit are still being collected through Spring CrowdFund – Nway Oo Public Fundraising Platform (SCF) until July 5.

📌📌 5. 68 Democracy Activists and Civilians Killed in June Alone, Including 16 Who Died After Being Detained

According to information gathered by the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), a total of 10 individuals were arrested and detained for political reasons across the country during the month of June 2025 by the terrorist military junta.
Furthermore, 68 democracy activists and civilians were reported killed during this one-month period, of which 16 died after being arrested, due to various causes.
Separate records have also been kept for approximately 80 additional deaths reported during June that still require official verification.
Ko Bo Kyi, Joint Secretary of the AAPP, stated:
“The number of political prisoners dying in custody is increasing day by day. These deaths, when examined, are caused by a range of factors: torture and mistreatment during interrogation, lack of timely medical care, inadequate nutrition, and difficulties in receiving family support due to frequent prison transfers. In some cases, poor road access in conflict zones also contributes.”

📌📌 6. Light Earthquake (Magnitude 4.4) Strikes 19 km Northeast of Myingyan Town

A light earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck northeast of Myingyan town in Mandalay Region early this morning, according to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management under the NUG.
The tremor occurred at 7:10 a.m. Myanmar Standard Time, centered 19 kilometers northeast of Myingyan, at a depth of 17.2 kilometers underground.
The Ministry has urged the public to follow preparedness guidelines—what to do, what to avoid, and what to be aware of—to minimize damage and losses from continuous small earthquakes that have been occurring.
