Union Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than said that the revolution must be ended as soon as possible in order to prevent further harm to the public. The prime minister said at the 76th cabinet meeting of the National Unity Government held on November 29. “It is heartbreaking to hear about people being affected and civilians being killed as military operations escalate. When I hear such news, I make a firm decision in my mind. The first priority is to ensure that the revolution ends successfully and quickly in order to prevent further harm to the public. The second priority is that once the revolution is over, we must devise the best strategies for rehabilitating those who have suffered physical and mental harm,” he said.
