“The country and the public are only going to get worse as long as the existence of armed conflicts. Therefore, there is one thing I would like to urge from here. This is only the rapid elimination of all terrorist military groups in the current Myanmar spring revolution,” he said. Moreover, the Acting President reiterated that efforts must be made to improve people’s daily livelihood and employment opportunities either directly or indirectly.

Parliamentarians led by Norwegian parliamentarian Mr. Ola Elvestuen, Professor Kristain Stokke from the University of Oslo, and members of parliament from Norway’s political parties, attended the meeting.

In the meeting, the National Unity Government, Union Minister of Human Rights U Aung Myo Min, presented the challenges and difficulties of human rights violations faced by Myanmar, as well as the development conditions regarding the prosecution of the military council in the ICC and ICJ.
