Before this incident, everyone had seen firsthand the crimes committed in various parts of the country, such as the massacre of Let Yet Kone Village in Sagaing Division, the massacre of Mon Taing Pin Village in Sagaing Division, the massacre of Done Taw Village, Salingyi Township in Sagaing Division, the massacre of Moso Village in Karenni State, and the massacre in Matupi Township in Chin State.”— Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann said. The Union Prime Minister retreated that the differences of opinion and issues that need to be negotiated among the ethnic revolutionary forces should be negotiated.
