The National Unity Government released that it is ready to provide humanitarian assistance in cooperation with the AHA Center, including the ASEAN Secretary General. 

The news was received according to a statement issued by the NUG President’s Office on November 12. According to the statement, the NUG government agrees that the lack of progress in the implementation of the Five-Point Consensus (5PC) necessitates the exploration of other options and is ready to work with the ASEAN Foreign Ministers and the ASEAN Chair’s Special Envoy for Myanmar. Moreover, it has been reported that the National Unity Government is ready to cooperate with the ASEAN Secretary General and the AHA Center to provide humanitarian assistance to all communities in Myanmar.
