The CRPH sent a message on the 34th anniversary of the founding of the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF) and the Acting President delivered a video speech

The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) sent a message on the 34th anniversary of the founding of the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), which fell on November 1.

In the message, the CRPH pledged to work together with all revolutionary forces, including the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), in the fight to end the battle of the Spring Revolution.

Similarly, the Acting President delivered a video speech on the 34th anniversary of the founding of the All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF).

In the speech, the Acting President said, “There are things that can be able to pass on from generation to generation among the revolutionary generations. I would like to reiterate to teach the new generation of the Myanma Spring Revolution how to build strong military alliances with a broad vision.”

In addition, the Acting President also said that in the new future union, the military dictatorship group should be eliminated decisively and new democratic and political groups should be firmly established.

 

The NUG Home Affairs Minister asks to pay special attention to security in the revolution

At the meeting (1/2022) between the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration and the district administration bodies held on October 31, Union Minister U Lwin Ko Latt remarked, “In the revolution, everyone needs to take care of security and overcome what is happening in a timely manner.”

Subsequently, Khu Hte Bu, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration, said, “Each district administration body will be responsible for the townships in its district and have to work with understanding in coordinating with the townships; it is especially important to build mutual communication; it is necessary for the district administration bodies leaders to supervise the township bodies that will be mainly served on the ground; and the district leaders should give the necessary instructions according to the ground situation.”

After that, the members of the district people’s administration bodies presented and discussed the issues they are facing on the ground and exchanged views with the attending participants.

 

At the United Nations, Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that the people of Myanmar are still helpless and suffering from the atrocities of the military

At the 22nd Plenary Discussion of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly, U Kyaw Moe Tun, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations, stated the following while discussing the report of the International Criminal Court.

“I said so to you because our domestic justice system has failed since the illegal military coup in February 2021 and we have been looking for help through the international justice system, including the ICC, to bring the perpetrators of heinous crimes committed in Myanmar to justice. The people of Myanmar are still helpless to even seek accountability for the perpetrators and justice for the victims of the military’s atrocities.”

The ambassador reiterated that there is sufficient evidence of the crimes against humanity and war crimes committed by the Myanmar military, and now is the time to use this evidence to take effective measures.

 

The Sagaing Township people’s administration will start collecting taxes from business owners in Sagaing Township and those business owners who will travel through Sagaing Township

On November 1, the Sagaing Township People’s Administration released a statement about tax collection.

According to the statement, business owners in Sagaing Township and those business owners who will be traveling through Sagaing Division are asked to pay taxes at the Interim Taxation Coordinating Committee formed by the Sagaing Township People’s Administration under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration (MOHAI-NUG).

At present, 36 townships in Sagaing Division and Magway Division are being implemented as governed territories and road security check points are set up.

 

A convoy containing about 30 military junta soldiers and police was attacked with three landmines in Aungmyaythazan Township, Mandalay

On November 1, the Generation Z Power, an urban guerrilla group in Mandalay, released a statement that claimed that they had attacked the junta group, which roamed the city and frightened the public, at the corner of 12th street and 88th street, Aungmyaythazan Township, Mandalay, at 6:30 a.m. on November 1.

The statement said, “The Generation Z Power (GZP-Mandalay) guerrilla group, the Patheingyi Township People’s Defense Force (PaKaPha), and the G 6 Star people’s defense force joined forces and attacked a military convoy of a Double Cap and a Faw car, containing 30 junta soldiers and police, who were patrolling at the corner of 12th street and 88th street in Aungmyaythazan Township, Mandalay with three landmines. The attack may have caused many casualties and injuries.” The GZP-Mandalay reported that the two cars were damaged due to the explosion

 

Those who buy the Treasury Bonds in November will be presented with a souvenir postcard written by the chairman of the Interim Chin National Consultative Council (ICNCC) 

On November 1, the United Bond, an initiative by the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment (MOPFI-NUG), announced that those who buy the Treasury Bonds in November will be presented a souvenir postcard written by the chairman of the Interim Chin National Consultative Council (ICNCC).

It states, “November is the month when the Chin people celebrate the harvest festival. On behalf of the Chin ethnic brothers and sisters who are working together to revolt against the military council, everyone who buys a treasury bond in November will receive a harvest festival postcard with the Interim Chin National Council (ICNCC) chairman’s words of thanks and congratulations.”

The proceeds from the sale of treasury bonds are shared by the allied ethnic resistance groups and the NUG for liberation from the boot of the military.

The United Bonds initiative also urged, “If you want to collect the memorable quotes of your admired and beloved revolutionary leader and revolutionary organization, we would like to encourage you to buy bonds every month.”

The short film “The Road Not Taken,” directed by Ko Pauk, will be screened at two shows in Texas on November 12.

Tickets for the screening are now available for purchase at the “The Road Not Taken” film screening committee and relevant agents.
