The NUG Union Prime Minister says that the terrorist military junta must be overthrown as soon as possible and that the international community should no longer turn a blind eye to the terrible human rights violations that the people of Myanmar are experiencing

Union Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than said at the 68th Cabinet Meeting of the National Unity Government held on September 20 that the terrorist military junta must be overthrown as soon as possible.

“Also, in Mobye, it is reported that heavy military ranged weapon shells fired by the military council troops fell on an IDP camp, killing four, including children, and injuring at least ten people. I would like to emphasis that the world’s people who said they love justice need to help find justice for the terrible fate of our country that arose because of the lust for power of a group of people, for those losing innocent lives, and for the various problems that the people of Myanmar are facing. This revolution is a revolution with too many sacrifices by our people, so it is very important to do everything possible to overthrow these terrorist military councils as soon as possible.” — the Union Prime Minister remarked.

In addition, the Union Prime Minister continued that it is time for the international community to stop turning a blind eye to the terrible human rights violations that the people of Myanmar are experiencing.

“I would like to say first of all that I am saddened, together with the people of the whole country who love justice, for the heartbreaking case happened in Sagaing Division. The terrorist military council committed atrocities and killings across the country throughout this revolution, and this heartbreaking incident is one of the worst incidents that we are deeply regretful for. Since conducting air strikes on schools where children were studying is an inhumane act and a terrible crime, now is the time for the international community not to turn a blind eye to the severe human rights violations and war crimes committed by the terrorist military junta against civilians and children in Myanmar,” the Union Prime Minister said.

On September 16, two military Mi-35 helicopters launched air attacks on a school in Tabayin Township, killing six children studying in the school.
