At the fundraising ceremony to send revolutionary support to the South held on 12 August, Union Minister for International Cooperation Dr. Sasa revealed that the day the crucial cities can be captured and the airport is accessible, weapons assistance will be received.
“The answer to why the international community is still unable to support Myanmar with arms is that the day we can capture Yangon, arm assistance will be received like rain. I guarantee with this. Currently, the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government is conducting the armaments, and 95 percent of NUG’s budget is being spent on defense.

“We need to raise at least 50 million to 100 million funds for the battle. Therefore, we are working hard to make it from international as well as domestic,”
said the Union Minister.
Currently, the National Unity Government is selling special treasury bonds and EOD shares to the public.

On 14 August, the Hnan Khar Defense Youth Group informed the public to be aware because over 100 military council troops had arrived in Yan Gyi Aung village in Gangaw Township from Kalay Township.
“The offensive column of the military from Kalay Township towards Gangaw Township has set fire to the villages along the way and has arrested and killed innocent people, so we would like to inform the public to avoid and live in safe places away from the operation routes of the military troops,”
said the Hnan Khar Defense Youth Group.
It is also said that the offensive column of the military has reached Yan Gyi Aung village and has over 100 troops.

People’s comrade Salai Man Key Htan sacrificed his life in fighting against the terrorist military during the Mindat-Matupi Road Section golf club battle that happened on 14 May 2021.
It is also stated that people can contact and purchase ‘Treasury Bond for the Spring Hero’ as a dedicated donation for Nway Oo heroes and donate to their bereaved families.
