Burmese attending Thingyan Pwe in LA signing petition for Political Prisoners in Burma

The annual event hold by Burmese residence living in LA area of California to celebrate Burmese New Year – Water Festival took place at one public park with food stalls and fun fare programs on 19th April. While there were total of 32 variety stalls and hundred of visitors at the event, one Burmese activists group, “LA Organizers” asked signatures from attending guests to join the signature campaign demanding Burmese military to release all Burmese political prisoners in Burma.
