Burmese Tea Leaf Salad with Yellow Coloring banned

43 brands that produced Burmese Tea Leaf Salad, a popular Burmese traditional dessert in ready-made packaged-food were banned from the store shelf, Burmese ministry of healthcare announced in today newspapers in Rangoon.
It said that they were using yellow coloring that were banned in food industry which could cause illness and side-effect.
Among them, “Ayee Daung Chin Zat Laphat”, a famous name from one tea leaf producer of Mandalay was listed but other kinds from the same manufacturer were in included.
