1) Junta hiding territorial losses while committing ongoing atrocities, says Myanmar Ambassador to the UN

Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, U Kyaw Moe Tun, told the UN General Assembly’s Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian & Cultural) on Nov 19 that the junta is masking its territorial losses while continuing systematic brutality.�He said the regime is staging sham election processes to conceal grave crimes and evade accountability. Behind a climate of fear—marked by arbitrary arrests of political leaders, systematic human-rights violations, suppression of free expression, information controls—the junta is trying to deceive the international community with illegitimate procedures that exclude the people’s will.�He urged all UN member states to reject the sham election and called on the international community to support Myanmar people’s efforts to build a peaceful, inclusive federal democracy.
2) At least five civilians killed in junta airstrikes in Mawkhi area

In Mawkhi, Hpruso Township, Kayah (Karenni) State, junta jets bombed the KD mining site around 8 a.m., Nov 21, killing at least five civilians—mostly mine workers—and injuring many others.�Facilities at Factory No. 2 and toward Nyaungpin were also bombed; casualties there are not yet known.�Earlier, on Aug 17 and 20, airstrikes in the same area killed 33 civilians and injured at least 10.
3) Girl (16) killed by junta drone strike in Oaktwin

A drone-dropped bomb hit a house in Thayettaw village, Oaktwin Township, Bago Region, at 9:40 a.m., Nov 21, killing Ma Chan Mimi Aung (16) and injuring her younger siblings Ywan Mimi Aung (10) and Ma Ywan Mimi Zaw.�On Apr 15, an airstrike on Thaungtan village (Oaktwin) killed a 35-year-old couple.
4) People’s Defense Force – Mandalay suspends two central committee members, detains them

The PDF–Mandalay Central Leading Committee announced the suspension and detention (since Oct 15) of Ko Montine (Head of Military Affairs) and Ko Naing Gyi (Head of Finance & Fundraising) for violating rules and illegally taking high-value assets.�Earlier decisions in August and confirmations in September required the return of assets and acceptance of penalties, but non-compliance escalated the case beyond internal discipline. The matter has been referred to the PDF General Headquarters for decision.�The public notice aims to pre-empt rumors that could harm the revolution.
5) Prisoner convoy ambushed in Chauk; one political prisoner rescued

In Chauk Township, Magway Region, resistance units mined and attacked a convoy transporting five political prisoners from the town police station, rescuing one: Ko Baw Net Shine (aka Moe Nyo) of Chauk Guerrilla Force, arrested in 2023.�Groups involved: PDF–Chauk, Chauk Guerrilla Force, Magway District Special Attack Force 5 – Chauk, and Tiger Fighter Force.�Reports say two police were killed; negligent escort officers were detained.
6) Over 900 foreign nationals detained in Shwe Kokko raids within three days; BGF denies Saw Chit Thu fled

The BGF and the junta began raids on online scam (“Kyar Phyant”) compounds in New Shwe Kokko on Nov 18. Within three days, 900+ foreigners from 22 countries were detained, BGF spokesman Lt. Col. Naing Maung Zaw told Thailand’s The Reporters on Nov 20.�Most detainees are Chinese; authorities seized 20,000+ phones and 2,653 computers, searched 22 buildings, and blocked escape routes to Thailand.�He said operations continue; timelines and completion rates are unclear. He denied claims that Chinese bosses were quietly released or that BGF harbors them, and also rejected reports that BGF chief Col. Saw Chit Thu fled—saying he remains at his home in Shwe Kokko.
7) Emergency aid needed for IDPs in Ye-U, Khin-U, and Kantbalu

Due to junta columns, thousands from Ye-U, Khin-U (north-west), and Kantbalu (south-west) townships have fled—most sheltering in Khin-U—and urgently need assistance, said the Khin-U Township Information Team.�Local humanitarian volunteers, the People’s Administration, and village committees are assisting but resources are insufficient. Donations can be coordinated via the team’s Facebook Messenger.�Around 300 junta troops remain near Mon Hla model village (DY-1) in north-west Khin-U, reportedly looting and destroying houses; some detainees are unaccounted for.
Air-con and refrigerator repair course held for CDM soldiers/police and activists

The People’s Target vocational arm completed its Basic Electricity + Air-Conditioner/Refrigerator Repair Course (Batch 1)—opened Oct 11, finished after 6 weeks, with a graduation on Nov 19.�Ten CDM soldiers/police and activists completed the course and received certificates and stipends. More livelihood training will be offered to upgrade skills and support self-reliance of those in the Spring Revolution.
9) Two Pyu Saw Htee villages seized in Pauk; three soldiers captured alive during pursuit

Allied resistance forces captured Wun Kyon and Thichokone (Pyu militias) near Yoe Chaung, southern Pauk Township, on Nov 1.�On Nov 15, they pursued and attacked a junta column (~200 troops) from Shwe Bon Thar (Pyu) through Htapaokkone, Chaingsauk, Phalan Kaing, Kyauktine Khin, and Nyaung Sin Taw, capturing three soldiers alive and seizing weapons and the bodies of the dead.�Operations were by Mying PDF, Pauk PDF, MGY units and allies.�In response, the military has conducted daily airstrikes (paramotors, gyrocopters, jets) across Mying and Pauk, displacing ~17,000 people from 27 villages.
10) Seven soldiers killed by IED ambush in Chaung-U

Resistance groups mined a junta column inside Yay Poe Sar Monastery along the Mandalay–Monywa road, Chaung-U Township, at 11:30 a.m., Nov 20, killing seven soldiers, said The Pentagram – Five-Pointed Star group.�The 50-strong column had brought 30–50 local farmers as human shields from Gwe Pin Taw and Myaung junction outposts.�No civilians were harmed; the hostages were released later the same day. The action was carried out by The Pentagram LPDF and Spring Youth LPDF; resistance fighters withdrew safely.
11) Hundreds of drug users arrested; encampments cleared in Hpakant

In Hpakant Township, near Hmaw Sisar village (between Thayar Kone and Kotehmaw), the anti-drug group Pat Jasan cleared makeshift structures along the main road around 7 a.m., Nov 21, detaining around 200 drug users and dealers using two covered trucks, according to KNG.�The spot—near a golf course and market strip—reportedly sees ~200 users/dealers daily, with frequent muggings and thefts affecting nearby shops and homes.�Due to the security situation, detainees were taken away without on-site screening; some were later released, while others, along with seized heroin, crystal meth, yaba, face penalties.
