🚩🚩 1. Military Airstrikes on KIA Battalion 6 Territory in Hpakant: Over 30 Bombs Dropped
October 21
According to local sources, the terrorist military junta launched airstrikes this morning, October 21, on the area controlled by Battalion 6 of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) in Hpakant Township, Kachin State, dropping more than 30 bombs.
The attack targeted Kansi area under KIA Brigade 9’s Battalion 6, beginning around 7:30 a.m. Reports indicate that the junta used a Y-12 aircraft to drop a total of 36 bombs and continued firing for about half an hour.
A local source stated that one of the bombs directly hit a training site, destroying buildings and injuring around 50 individuals, including several officers.
Due to the junta’s ongoing air and artillery assaults on the Hpakant region, there have been civilian casualties as well, according to military reports.
It has been over four months since the junta began a major offensive in Hpakant, attempting to regain control through intensified military operations. Clashes between KIA allied forces and the junta troops have persisted, forcing many local civilians to flee to safer areas for refuge.

🚩🚩 2. Two Civilians Killed and Two Injured in Junta Airstrike on Mine Naw Town
October 21
The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported that the terrorist junta launched another airstrike on Mine Naw town, located in Ta’ang Brigade 1’s area in northern Shan State, killing two civilians — one man and one woman — and injuring two others.
On the night of October 20, around 8 p.m., junta aircraft dropped two 250-pound bombs near Mine Naw central market, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries, and destroying ten houses and five shop buildings.
The junta had also carried out airstrikes on October 19 against Namh San, Mantong, Mine Naw, and Momeik townships, injuring two civilians.
According to TNLA’s Publicity and Information Department records, between October 1 and 18, the junta carried out 28 airstrikes in TNLA-controlled territories, killing 41 civilians — including 2 monks, 8 children, 12 men, and 19 women — and injuring 44 more, among them 11 children. Additionally, 138 houses, 3 schools, 3 monasteries, 7 dormitories, and 4 other buildings were damaged or destroyed.
The TNLA stated that the junta’s airstrikes not only target resistance groups and ethnic armed organizations but also deliberately attack civilians in areas liberated by revolutionary forces — acts amounting to war crimes against innocent people.
Therefore, TNLA and allied revolutionary forces have urged local communities to maintain high security awareness, take necessary precautions against air raids, and follow all recommended air-raid protection measures to safeguard their lives.

🚩🚩 3. One Civilian Killed and Three Injured After Junta Airstrike on Monastery Shelter in Sarlingyi Township
October 21
The Monywa True News Information Team reported that the terrorist military junta dropped bombs from a fighter jet on a monastery in Sarlingyi Township, Sagaing Region, where internally displaced civilians were sheltering. The attack killed one displaced person and injured three others.
The incident occurred on October 20 around 5:30 p.m., when the junta dropped three 120-mm bombs on a monastery in Htan Pu village, Sarlingyi Township, where war-displaced civilians were taking refuge.
Local sources said the attack was carried out while revolutionary forces were protecting Chinese Wanbao Company installations nearby, and the junta bombed the monastery sheltering displaced civilians in the process.
It is reported that coup leader Min Aung Hlaing, who illegally seized power, is preparing to hold a sham election at the Wanbao Chinese Company’s site. To protect the company, the junta’s Northwestern Regional Command (Na Ma Kha) has deployed large numbers of troops around Wanbao, including approximately 100 soldiers outside the company’s perimeter to provide direct security for Chinese personnel.
Furthermore, fighter aircraft from the Northwestern Command were seen patrolling the area again this morning, October 21, prompting the Monywa True News Information Team to issue safety warnings for local residents to remain alert.
