🚩🚩 1. Junta Jet Fighter Bombs Kyauk Phar Village in Mogok Township
October 20
The terrorist military junta carried out another aerial bombing on Kyauk Phar Village, located west of Mogok Township in Mandalay Region, using a jet fighter, according to an official statement issued today, October 20, by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).
At around 2:00 PM on October 19, the junta aircraft dropped a 250-pound bomb, which exploded inside a civilian-owned poultry farm, according to the TNLA’s report.
Records indicate that on the same day, October 19, the junta also launched aerial attacks on Namhsan, Mantong, and Mongngawt townships — all areas currently under TNLA control.
Between October 1 and 18, the junta’s air force has bombed Mantong, Kyaukme, Hsipaw, Mongngawt, Monglon, Namhsan, Namtu, Momauk, and Mogok a total of 28 times, according to the TNLA’s Department of News and Information (PSLF/TNLA).
These indiscriminate attacks have caused extensive civilian casualties:
- 2 monks, 8 children, 19 women, and 12 men were killed;
- 11 children, 16 men, and 17 women were injured;
- 138 houses, 3 schools, 3 monasteries, 7 school dormitories, and 4 other buildings were destroyed.
The TNLA condemned the junta for committing war crimes, stating that the regime not only attacks resistance-controlled areas but also deliberately targets innocent civilians living in territories previously liberated by ethnic armed organizations and People’s Defense Forces (PDFs).
The TNLA and allied Revolutionary Joint Forces urged civilians to remain vigilant, to stay alert to ongoing air threats, and to practice community-based air-raid defense protocols to minimize harm from future airstrikes.

Three individuals — a village administrator and two Pyu Saw Htee militia members — were killed in a shootout after attempting to escape arrest in Kawthaung Township, Tanintharyi Region, according to the Kawthaung District People’s Defense Organization (PDO) in a statement released today, October 20.
Revolutionary allied forces in the district had detained Village Administrator U Win Myint and Pyu leader U Aye Soe from Lone Phaw Village, Khamaukgyi Township, on the morning of October 14, according to the statement.
While transporting U Win Myint for questioning in a secure location, the revolutionary forces encountered another Pyu leader, U Thet Oo, from Namma Nwe Village, who was then also arrested.
During the interrogation break, as the captives were eating lunch, Pyu Saw Htee member U Thet Oo suddenly opened fire with a Magnum pistol he had concealed, and all three detainees attempted to flee. Revolutionary forces immediately returned fire, resulting in the deaths of all three.
One revolutionary fighter sustained a minor gunshot wound to his right thigh during the exchange.
Recovered items from the scene included four walkie-talkies, four mobile phones, one long rifle magazine, three bullets, one Magnum pistol, five pistol rounds, several identification cards, and a Hilux Vigo vehicle.
The Kawthaung District People’s Defense Organization warned local administrators and Pyu militias to cooperate peacefully when summoned by the revolutionary forces, emphasizing that those who align with the junta or refuse dialogue will face action according to revolutionary procedures.

🚩🚩 5. Civilian Support Is the Key to Defeating the Junta, Says Commander of Naypyitaw PDF Battalion-808
October 20
“The decisive factor in defeating the military dictatorship lies in the unwavering support of the people,” said Commander Wazo, leader of Naypyitaw People’s Defense Force (PDF) Battalion-808, in a recent public address.
The commander made these remarks while discussing the battalion’s “Operation Weapon-20 Fundraising Campaign,” aimed at acquiring 20 firearms for the ongoing resistance.
He emphasized that victory is certain if the people continue to stand alongside the resistance, enabling all revolutionary battalions to operate in unified, strategic coordination.
He further noted that the ability to counterattack the enemy today — using improved tactics, drones, and self-manufactured weapons — was made possible only through the public’s steadfast encouragement and support.
Members of Battalion-808 were trained through the Southern Military Column (Daung Operation) and are now fighting alongside local PDF units against junta forces in various operational zones.
Battalion-808 is one of the newly formed Naypyitaw-based battalions, originally established as Sub-Battalion 4 of Battalion-3501 along the eastern bank of the Sittaung River in Yedashe Township, before advancing to Naypyitaw to participate in frontline operations aimed at breaching the junta’s central command stronghold.
