The group urged the public to completely boycott the junta’s sham election and warned that those who choose to participate will face consequences.

CDF-Hakha called on the international community and domestic organizations to exert pressure on the junta to immediately cease attacks on civilians, schools, hospitals, and religious buildings, and to hold accountable all those who planned, permitted, or carried out such crimes.

The statement reaffirmed that CDF-Hakha will continue to stand with the people and fight until the power is restored to the citizens and the military dictatorship is fully abolished.
