🚩🚩 1. CDF-Hakha Strongly Condemns the Junta’s Airstrike on a Village School in Chin State’s Van Huar Village

The Chinland Defense Force (CDF-Hakha) has issued a statement on October 14, strongly condemning the brutal airstrike carried out by the terrorist junta on a village school in Van Huar VillageHakha Township, Chin State, around 10 a.m. on October 13, 2025.

According to the statement, the junta’s aerial bombardment killed an 8-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, while 21 others were injured, including two critically wounded victims.

CDF-Hakha expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the families of the victims and the villagers, stating that Van Huar Village was not a CDF-Hakha base, but a civilian learning center for children.

The deliberate targeting of this civilian school, the statement emphasized, represents a serious violation of international humanitarian lawfundamental human rights, and the laws governing armed conflict, constituting an outright war crime.

CDF-Hakha further noted that the junta’s continued aerial bombings of civilian areas in Chin State amid preparations for its illegal pre-election period demonstrate the illegitimacy of the regime’s so-called election.

It urged the public not to participate in the sham election, warning that effective action would be taken against those who collaborate with the junta.

The statement also called on the international community and local organizations to pressure the junta to immediately halt attacks on civilians, schools, hospitals, and religious buildings, and to ensure accountability for those who planned, authorized, and carried out these attacks.

CDF-Hakha reaffirmed its resolve to continue standing alongside the people until sovereign power is returned to the public and the military dictatorship is completely dismantled.

🚩🚩 2. Five Junta Soldiers Killed in Attack on Maung May Shaung Village, Dawei Township

According to reports from the Dura Column, at around 10 a.m. on October 13, revolutionary forces launched an attack on over 100 junta troops moving with weaponry and ammunition from Battalion 302, near Maung May Shaung Village in Dawei Township.

The clash resulted in five junta soldiers killed, while the resistance fighters managed to retreat safely without casualties.

With the escalation of military operations in Tanintharyi Region, the Dura Column urged civilians to remain highly cautious, limit movement, and stay informed about airstrike alerts and air defense measures, as air raids could occur at any time.

The statement also appealed to junta soldiers and police officers who wish to stand on the side of truth and the people to defect from the regime and join the people’s cause as soon as possible, as revolutionary momentum continues to intensify nationwide.

🚩🚩 3. Fierce Clashes in Hpakant Leave Over 30 Junta Troops Dead; One Sniper Captured

Intense clashes between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the terrorist junta forces continue in Hpakant Township, Kachin State, resulting in the deaths of over 30 junta soldiers, according to KIA military sources.

deputy battalion commander from the junta side was also injured, sources confirmed.

In response to their losses, the junta carried out airstrikes, dropping bombs on the battlefield. During the fighting, KIA forces reportedly captured a trained sniper from Battalion 384.

Similarly, clashes in Bhamo Township on October 13 left a junta officer severely injured—believed to be in critical condition—and civilian casualties have also been reported.

🚩🚩 4. Pyu Saw Htee Supporter Captured in Pauk Township While Searching for Food Supplies

According to the Pa Ka Pha (Naga Byauk Kyar Column) – Southern Pauk Division, at around 9 a.m. on October 12, resistance forces captured a Pyu Saw Htee supporter named U Pway near Tat Kone Pyu Saw Htee Village while conducting a security patrol.

One knife was seized from his possession. U Pway reportedly admitted that he was a junta supporter and was outside searching for food supplies, though not carrying any weapon at the time.

He is currently under interrogation, and if evidence of wrongdoing is confirmed, he will be handed over to the Pauk Township People’s Administration Team and the People’s Security Force for further legal action.

Pa Ka Pha stated that U Pway was one of seven Pyu Saw Htee-linked individuals captured recently in the area.

🚩🚩 5. Junta Conducts Another Airstrike on Mae Thamee Khee (Htee Khee) Village, Damaging Civilian Property and Injuring Residents

According to the Karen National Union (KNU) – Myeik-Dawei District, around 12 noon on October 14, 2025, the terrorist junta launched another jet fighter airstrike on Mae Thamee Khee (Htee Khee) Village in Thimaw Plaw areaMyeik-Dawei District, destroying a civilian-owned building and injuring several villagers.

The KNU reported that the junta, desperate to maintain its grip on power, is trying to forcibly hold sham elections in areas under its control, while intentionally terrorizing civilians through aerial bombings in KNU-administered territories—areas that it had previously lost control of.

The attacks are part of the junta’s broader campaign to instill fear among the population and suppress resistance ahead of its illegitimate election, the statement said.

🚩🚩 6. Junta Troops and PNO Burn Down Entire Village in Baw Yan, Pekhon Township

According to local reports, the terrorist junta forces and the Pa-O National Organization (PNO) jointly set fire to and destroyed the entire village of Baw Yan, located in Pekhon Township, near the border between Shan State and Karenni (Kayah State).

The arson attack began around noon on October 13 and continued through October 14, causing houses to burn for two consecutive days. Nearly the entire village was reduced to ashes, local residents confirmed.

Although the exact number of houses destroyed is still unknown, all villagers have reportedly fled to safety, escaping from the advancing troops.

It is further learned that since late September, junta troops and PNO members have raided and occupied villages, burning down Howo, Saung Lan, and Laik Kyine villages as well.

🚩🚩 7. Junta Troops Arrest 32 Youths Returning from Stage Show in Monywa Using Five Vehicles

According to reports from Monywa Roads Information, around 8 p.m. on October 13five private vehicles carrying junta troops intercepted and arrested a group of young people returning from a stage show held in honor of the Sutaung Pyae Pagoda Festival on Monywa Riverbank Road.

It is reported that approximately 32 youths were forcibly detained and taken away by the junta forces.

Residents said that apart from office hoursMonywa City remains almost deserted, with very few people seen outside, as fear of arbitrary arrests and abductions continues to grow.
