🚩🚩 1. Attack on Prison Compound and Police Station in Monywa Township — Three Police Officers Killed

In Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, the Bamar Army announced that its allied resistance forces launched a coordinated assault on the prison compound and police station located west of Tharsi Village, under the control of the Military Council.
According to the report, on October 6 around 5:00 p.m., the resistance fighters attacked nearby military bunkers using 60mm mortars, followed by a 45-minute exchange of fire with small arms.
During the battle, three police officers were killed, and several buildings and equipment within the prison compound were damaged, according to information received from Phayar Thi News.
The attack was jointly carried out by multiple resistance forces under the coordination of Bamar Army’s No. 2 Regional Command, including the 505th Battalion, ERO Brother Monywa Defence Force (HBMY PDF), Moe Hein Defence Force, Phoenix Northern Plains Revolutionary Force (Local), Truth Army, and the Golden Triangle Allied Battalion. The joint forces successfully withdrew without any casualties.

🚩🚩 2. Three Junta Soldiers Killed in Ambush on Monywa–Mandalay Road

In Chaung-U Town, Monywa District, Sagaing Region, the Pa Ka Pha (People’s Defence Force) announced that resistance forces ambushed four junta soldiers who had been deployed to provide security for a military convoy traveling along the Monywa–Mandalay highway.
The ambush took place on October 10, at around 7:10 a.m., jointly conducted by Chaung-U PDF (CHU PDF) and Special Force 11 (LPDF).
During the attack, the resistance forces killed three junta soldiers and seized the following items:
- Four motorcycles
- Three BA-63 rifles
- 494 rounds of 9mm ammunition
- 652 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition
- Three helmets
- Ten BA-63 magazines
- Three BA-94 magazines
- One hand grenade
- Four mobile phones
All resistance fighters reportedly retreated safely after the operation.

🚩🚩 3. Attack on Junta Troops Extorting Travelers in Ngazun Township

In Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, the Special Task Force Ngazun reported that its members raided and attacked junta troops who were extorting money from travelers near the northeast corner of Myotha Market.
The operation took place on October 8 at around 4:00 p.m., during which the task force carried out a swift assault and successfully withdrew without any casualties.
The attack resulted in two junta soldiers killed and two others seriously wounded, according to local sources.

🚩🚩 4. Five Children Killed in Airstrike by Junta Forces in Bilin Township

In Bilin Township, Mon State, a devastating airstrike by junta forces on Pyin Ma Pin Seik Village resulted in the deaths of five children, according to local residents.
At around 8:00 p.m. on October 9, junta forces launched two aerial bombs from a fighter jet, which exploded within the village area.
The victims were identified as:
- Saw Thun Thun Min (6 years old)
- Saw Lin Htet Thar (7 years old)
- Naw Maglar Phaw (9 years old)
- Naw San Myint (10 years old)
- Naw Than Than (12 years old)
All five children died instantly due to the explosions.
Additionally, over 12 other villagers, including children, sustained injuries of varying severity. They were transported to nearby clinics and hospitals for emergency treatment, with several reported to be in critical condition.

🚩🚩 5. Junta Jet Fighter Launches Another Airstrike Near Aung Myay Village in Mongmit Township

The PSLF/TNLA (Palaung State Liberation Front/Ta’ang National Liberation Army) reported that at 1:30 p.m. on October 10, the junta’s air force launched another airstrike using a jet fighter near Aung Myay Village in Mongmit Township, under Ta’ang Region, Military Region No. 8.
According to the statement, there was no active ground battle at the time of the strike. The junta’s aircraft dropped two 250-pound bombs and fired six rounds of heavy rockets into the area.
It was also noted that on October 9, a similar airstrike on Wai Baung Village in Mongmit Township—carried out with three 250-pound bombs from a jet fighter—killed seven civilians, including two children, injured eight others, and destroyed ten civilian houses.

🚩🚩 6. Over 10 Civilians Injured as Junta Warplane Bombs Taku Village in Tanintharyi Township

According to an official statement from the KNU Myeik–Dawei District, a junta aircraft carried out an airstrike on Taku Village, located in Tafor Village Tract, an area under the control of KNU Brigade 4, in Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region.
The attack occurred at 9:30 a.m. on October 10, when an FTC-2000G jet fighter dropped bombs and simultaneously fired automatic cannons at the village.
During the assault, more than 10 civilians, including students, were injured, and one building was destroyed, according to reports.
Local witnesses confirmed that no clashes were taking place at the time. The attack deliberately targeted civilians during school hours, when students and villagers were on their way to school or work, showing a clear act of terror against unarmed civilians.

🚩🚩 7. A Total of 117 Junta Personnel Defected, Surrendered, or Were Captured as Deserters in September 2025

The People’s Goal Organization reported that during September 2025, a total of 117 individuals—including junta soldiers and People’s Defense Force members—defected to the resistance, surrendered, or were captured as deserters.
Among them, 69 individuals defected and joined the resistance, while 48 were captured as deserters.
Of the defectors, 68 were junta soldiers and 1 was a PDF member, originating from Sagaing Region, Shan State, Mandalay Region, Bago Region, Kayah State, and Tanintharyi Region.
It was further noted that 41 out of the 68 junta soldiers were newly conscripted troops under the military conscription law.
Among those captured as deserters, there were 39 junta soldiers, 4 police officers, and 5 PDF members. The highest number of captures occurred in Sagaing Region and Tanintharyi Region, with 8 of the 39 captured soldiers also being recent conscripts.
According to the organization’s report, between January and September 2025, a total of 2,121 junta soldiers and affiliates have defected, surrendered, or been captured as deserters nationwide.
