๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 2. Nighttime Road Restrictions Imposed in Ngathayauk Township

October 19

The 21 Bagan Peopleโ€™s Defense Force (PDF) has announced restrictions on the use of roads within Ngathayauk Township, Nyaung-U District, Mandalay Region, prohibiting travel between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The announcement, issued on October 18, stated that the measure was introduced because military junta troops had launched offensive operations into Ngathayauk Township. As a result, the 21 Bagan PDF has restricted the use of all roads in the township during the nighttime hours from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

The PDF has urged local residents to refrain from traveling during these hours for their own safety.

Due to the ongoing military and security situation, the Nyaung-U Township Peopleโ€™s Defense Organization had also earlier โ€” on October 9 โ€” urged residents and travelers to avoid using the Nyaung-Uโ€“Kyaukpadaung road between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

The 21 Bagan PDF has therefore called on the public to respect and comply with the announcements made by revolutionary forces, warning that any harm resulting from failure to follow these directives will be the responsibility of those who disregard the guidance.
