📌📌 1. Union Minister U Lwin Ko Latt Emphasizes the Need for Effective Intelligence on High-Value Targets and Maintaining Stealth in Movement and Communication during the Closing Ceremony of the Target-Oriented Intelligence Course (Batch 2)October 10
Radio NUGThe Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government (NUG) announced that the closing ceremony of the Target-Oriented Intelligence Course (Batch 2), organized by the Special Investigation and Intelligence Department, was held on September 25, 2025, in an undisclosed location within the NUG-administered area of Sagaing Region.Attending the ceremony virtually were Union Minister U Lwin Ko LattDeputy Union Minister U Kyaw NiDeputy Minister Daw Ju Loin, and members of the Central Intelligence Unit.
On-site attendees included Permanent Secretary U Khun Min, Sagaing Regional Intelligence Officers, senior intelligence officers from Batch 1, and special intelligence operatives.During his opening address, Union Minister U Lwin Ko Latt remarked:“Upon completing this course, all participants must be able to prioritize and investigate high-value targets. The key is maintaining absolute stealth — both in physical movement and communication.
Together with BSI, we will assign tasks in areas with significant intelligence importance. In this period of revolution, it is critical to expose and monitor the junta’s ongoing election-related activities.
We must closely observe those leading and organizing these junta-run elections — understanding their patterns of life.
As comrades in this revolution, your role combines responsibilities to the Ministry, the NUG, and the broader revolutionary cause. I take pride in that unity.
Through collective effort, this training will help transform our revolutionary intelligence operations into practical, strategic missions capable of dismantling the junta’s military machinery. The perseverance of today’s graduates will play a vital part in achieving that goal.”Following the minister’s address, course participants presented team-based reports detailing their intelligence plans and findings.
The Permanent Secretary reviewed and gave feedback on these reports and later awarded completion certificates to the trainees.According to the NUG, the Target-Oriented Intelligence Course (Batch 2) was a two-month intensive program held in NUG-administered Sagaing Region.
It was designed to systematically develop the ability to gather intelligence crucial to dismantling the terrorist junta’s military mechanisms.
Participants were carefully selected intelligence personnel from K3 territories (Kale–Kani–Khin-U areas)Sagaing, and Magway Regions.

Radio NUGThe third annual Freshers’ Welcome Ceremony and Third Founding Anniversary of Myanmar National Open University (MNOU) were held on October 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with over 260 invited guests, faculty members, and students in attendance, according to a statement released by MNOU.The event began with welcoming remarks from the University Rector, followed by the reading of a congratulatory message from the Prime Minister, an address from the Union Minister of Education, and speeches from Deputy Rectors commemorating the third founding anniversary and welcoming new students.
The Rector then presented a report highlighting the university’s achievements over the past three years.

📌📌 3. Foreign Embassies Condemn the Chaung-U Airstrike on Thadingyut Full Moon NightOctober 10
Radio NUGThe embassies of the United Kingdom, Australia, and Switzerland have each issued statements condemning the airstrike launched by the junta’s forces in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, on the night of the Thadingyut Full Moon Festival.The British Embassy described the attack — which killed civilians including children during a sacred Buddhist holiday — as “deeply shocking and utterly unjustifiable.”The Swiss Embassy stated that“Indiscriminate airstrikes against civilians constitute a grave violation of international humanitarian law,”
and urged the protection of civilians from further harm.The Australian Embassy called for an immediate end to violenceunhindered humanitarian assistance, the release of arbitrarily detained prisoners, and the initiation of inclusive dialogue to resolve the crisis — reaffirming its solidarity with the people of Myanmar.

Forty-Seven Women Killed Nationwide in September 2025 Due to the Junta’s Ongoing AtrocitiesOctober 10 — Radio NUGAccording to a statement released by the Burmese Women’s Union (BWU), a total of 47 women were killed across Myanmar in September 2025 as a result of the junta’s ongoing campaigns of violence.Between September 1 and 30, women lost their lives due to airstrikes, heavy artillery shelling, extrajudicial executions, and sexual violence perpetrated by the junta forces. An additional 57 women were reported injured, the BWU said.Among the deceased, 36 were killed in airstrikes5 by artillery shelling4 by extrajudicial executions1 by shooting, and 1 from sexual violence.
The victims included 18 women from Sagaing Region12 from Mandalay Region6 from Kachin State3 from Rakhine State3 from Shan State2 from Karenni State1 from Mon State, and 2 from Tanintharyi Region.The BWU also noted that three of the victims were girls under 18 years of age, and some were pregnant women.Based on BWU’s ongoing documentation and research, from February 1, 2021, to the present, at least 7,360 civilians have been killed as a result of the junta’s war crimes, human rights violations, and acts of terror.The BWU further emphasized that despite the junta’s increased use of airstrikes this year—surpassing all previous months—Myanmar’s women continue to stand resilient and courageous, serving as a strong voice for justice and equality amid the ongoing conflict.

Roads in Htin Oo Township’s Zone (1) Repaired Under the Initiative of the Township Pa Ah Pha and Humanitarian Affairs TeamOctober 10 — Radio NUGThe People’s Administration Team of Htin Oo Township announced that major repair works are underway on several badly damaged roads in Zone (1)—key routes frequently used by local residents—under the leadership of the Township Pa Ah Pha (Administration Team) and the Humanitarian Affairs Department.The repair efforts are being jointly implemented by local communitiesvillage and ward committeesmembers of the People’s Security Force (Pa Ka Pha)battalion units, and residents, with the use of excavators, tractors, and dump trucks to restore the road infrastructure, according to the township administration.

Financial Aid Provided for Female Soldiers’ Healthcare and Medical Treatment for a Child Requiring SurgeryOctober 10 — Radio NUGThe Ministry of Women, Youth, and Children’s Affairs under the National Unity Government (NUG) has provided 10 million kyats to support female soldiers serving in various battalions and military units for their healthcare expenses, according to a statement released on October 10.In addition, the same ministry has provided 4,000 Thai Baht (THB) to cover medical expenses for a child in need of surgery.The ministry also donated essential items for the child’s mother, including women’s supplies.
