🚩🚩 1. Second-year student Htet Moe Oo of the University of Teacher Education, specializing in Primary Education, killed in airstrike by terrorist military

The Interim University Council of the University of Teacher Education announced that Ma Htet Moe Oo, a second-year student specializing in Primary Education, was killed when the terrorist military carried out an airstrike on Kanthuma Village, Tanse Township, Sagaing Region.
According to the report, on September 26 at 11:38 a.m., the terrorist junta deliberately targeted innocent civilians in Kanthuma Village, dropping two 500-pound bombs, which killed Ma Htet Moe Oo.
The deceased was identified as Ma Htet Moe Oo, a second-year student of the Bachelor of Education (Primary Education Specialization) program, registered under seat number 24PM-163 in the first semester.
The Interim University Council stated in its announcement:
“Htet Moe Oo, who stood firmly on the side of truth and justice with courage and dignity, gave her life. She was an outstanding student who passed the matriculation examination with distinction and continued to shine with brilliance and dedication as a student at the University of Teacher Education.”
The statement added that the university community—lecturers, fellow students, and friends—deeply mourns the tragic loss of a bright and promising daughter, who could have become an excellent teacher in the future.
It was further reported that the terrorist military airstrike on Kanthuma Village killed at least eight civilians, including Ma Htet Moe Oo, and left 12 others injured.

🚩🚩 2. Battalion Commander of LIB-318 killed in battle at Lamyang Village, Waingmaw Township

Local sources reported that in a battle at Lamyang Village, Waingmaw Township, Kachin State, the battalion commander of Light Infantry Battalion 318 (LIB-318) was killed.
The deceased was the battalion commander of LIB-318, under the Northern Regional Command (Ma Pa Kha), based in Tanai.
According to Kachin military sources, on September 26 around 6:30 p.m., while inspecting a temporary frontline base in Lamyang area, the battalion commander was hit by gunfire from the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and People’s Defense Forces (PDFs). He sustained critical injuries and died on the way while being transported.
Another military source confirmed that he died en route to Myitkyina Hospital.
It is reported that since late August, the terrorist junta has been launching offensives from Lamyang side in Waingmaw Township in an attempt to retake Kan Pai Ti area, which has been under KIA control. However, due to the resistance of KIA and PDFs, the junta has been unable to advance and heavy clashes continue in the Lamyang area.

🚩🚩 3. Two junta soldiers killed and two injured in mine attack while retreating after burning civilian houses in Thekone

According to a statement released today by Paungde Township People’s Defense Force (PPDF) Battalion-3601, two junta soldiers were killed and two wounded when their group was ambushed with landmines while retreating after torching civilian houses in Panpinkone Village, Aung Zitha Ward, Thekone Township, Pyay District, Bago Region.
The attack took place on September 24, targeting soldiers returning from burning civilian houses.
Reports said the soldiers, based in Thekone, were riding on 14 motorbikes when members of PPDF Battalion-3601, Sub-division 5 under the command of Strategic Unit-21, detonated landmines against them.
Although the junta soldiers responded with small arms fire, no revolutionary forces were harmed.
The dead and injured soldiers were evacuated by junta troops in Thekone and transported to the 100-bed military hospital in Shwetaung.
The PPDF Battalion-3601 urged civilians to avoid junta camps and checkpoints, warning that military operations have been stepped up in the area.

🚩🚩 4. Curfew order issued by revolutionary administrative bodies in Nan Mae Khon, Loi Nan Phaw, and Dee Baw Khaw townships due to security situation

Revolutionary forces in Nan Mae Khon, Loi Nan Phaw, and Dee Baw Khaw townships of Karenni State issued a night-time curfew order due to the deteriorating security situation.
The joint township administrative committees of those townships released the order on September 26.
The statement explained that alongside intensifying military operations, the junta, its informers, and affiliated gangs are attempting to undermine public safety and security in pursuit of staging sham elections.
To address the worsening situation, joint township administrative committees and the Karenni Revolutionary Joint Forces held discussions and decided to impose the curfew.
The curfew prohibits civilian movement between 9:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., except for emergency cases such as health and funeral matters, and military operations.
In addition, the public has been urged to fully cooperate with necessary security checks conducted by the Karenni State Police (KSP), revolutionary battalions, and administrative organizations.
It was recalled that on September 17, a similar order was issued restricting travel between Cherry Kone and Daw Taw Yi–S-Curve road from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. until the military situation stabilizes.
The committees emphasized that this announcement was made in the public interest and urged all civilians to strictly comply.
