The People’s Defense Teams (Pa Ka Pha) in Htee Lin Township, Gangaw District, Magway Region—previously divided into two groups (East and West)—united on September 23 into one township-wide People’s Defense Team in the presence of representatives from all villages within the township, according to a statement from the Htee Lin Township People’s Defense Team.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to the village-level Pa Ka Pha leaders, group leaders, township leaders, district leaders, and district-level military officers who supported this unification,” the statement said.

🚩🚩 2. In Pakokku, three rockets launched at SAC troops’ checkpoint outpost

The COBRA ONE force reported that on September 22, around midnight, three rockets were fired at a SAC checkpoint outpost near In Pin Village, south of Pakokku Township, Magway Region.
The rockets struck while large numbers of SAC troops had gathered at the outpost to launch military operations.
During the attack, SAC troops responded with heavy artillery fire, and later that afternoon, they launched ground assaults, burning down displacement camps.
On the morning of September 23, SAC forces in In Pin Village again fired two rounds of heavy artillery indiscriminately. At around 3:00 p.m., two SAC helicopters conducted indiscriminate aerial bombings.
This operation was jointly carried out by Pakokku Township People’s Defense Force Battalion (1), Pakokku Township People’s Defense Force Heavy Weapons Unit COBRA ONE, and the BURMA REVOLUTION RANGERS. Civilians were urged to remain highly cautious about military activity in the area.

🚩🚩 3. Resistance forces withdraw from Kyun Thar Village, southern Kale Township; three new Russian MI-38 military helicopters arrive in Nay Pyi Taw

According to Yaw Ah Lintan, resistance forces have withdrawn from Kyun Thar Village, located in southern Kale Township, Sagaing Region, and northern Gangaw Township, Magway Region, near Hintharwaddy Village.
Local resistance forces had captured Kyun Thar Village on April 10, 2025, but were forced to withdraw on the evening of September 20.
Kyun Thar had been controlled by Pyu Saw Htee militias, and surrounding areas also contain heavily armed Pyu Saw Htee villages, including Hintharwaddy and Myauk Khin Yane in Gangaw Township, and Lel Kyi, Winwa, and Kyauk Pyoke in eastern Kale Township.
To retake Kyun Thar, SAC deployed more than 300 troops, including conscripts, newly trained soldiers from its military training schools, and Pyu Saw Htee militias, launching attacks from Hintharwaddy Village. More than 10 fierce battles took place before resistance forces, unable to match in manpower and weaponry, were forced to relinquish control after over five months of holding the village.
Additionally, Yaw Ah Lintan reported that SAC’s newly acquired Russian-made multi-role MI-38 military helicopters (3 units) have already arrived at Nay Pyi Taw airport.
These MI-38T helicopters can carry 40 to 50 troops, transport loads up to 6 tons, and are capable of flying in rainy conditions.

🚩🚩 4. Four killed, including children, in Hpakant by SAC heavy artillery and drone strikes; two more children injured

At around 5:00 p.m. on September 22, SAC troops from a Hpakant-based military camp fired 120mm heavy artillery shells, one of which struck a house near Uru Creek, south of Sain Village, according to local reports.
A father and his son were killed instantly, while two other children were injured.
“In Hpakant, the military fires heavy artillery almost daily, causing continuous civilian casualties. Just last night, they shelled heavily throughout the entire night,” a local source said.
Similarly, in Seim Mu Village, Kyauk Sate Taung area, SAC drones dropped bombs on a house, killing U Kyaw Soe (age 45) and his son Maung Htoo Htoo San, while destroying two houses.

🚩🚩 5. In Khla Lwi Htoo District, three civilians including a child were injured by junta artillery fire

According to the Karen National Union (KNU), in Mu Township of Khla Lwi Htoo District, Kawsu Leh Administrative Area under the Karen National Union, the junta troops fired artillery shells, injuring three civilians including a child.
- On September 9 at around 11:30 a.m., the junta troops based in Yarmatee fired one artillery shell, which landed and exploded inside Nyaung Pin Thar village. A 5-year-old boy named Maung Lay was injured.
- On September 10 at 3:58 p.m., troops from junta Infantry Battalion (IB-351) fired one (Howitzer) shell into Thitkyehseik village. A 53-year-old woman named Daw Moe Khaing was injured.
- On September 15 at about 3:00 p.m., the same IB-351 fired one 120 mm shell, which landed and exploded inside Taipin Ywar village. A man named Saw Ma Htoo was injured. Again at 4:25 p.m., the battalion fired another 120 mm shell, which landed near Paryasee village, damaging one civilian house and killing a pig.
- Similarly, in Saw Htee Township, on September 17 at around 4:30 p.m., junta Light Infantry Battalion (LIB-20), based in Nyaung Lay Pin, used a drone to drop bombs on Kaukmehtu village, destroying one civilian house.
- In Leh Doh Township, on September 9 at 4:50 p.m., junta forces stationed at Natthan Gwin fired a 120 mm shell, which landed and exploded inside Nyaung Tan village school compound, damaging several classrooms.

🚩🚩 6. Four civilians killed in airstrikes and artillery attacks in Ka Ni and Nwar Htoe Gyi Townships

According to local reports, on September 22 at about 7:00 p.m., the junta launched two aerial bombs from a helicopter into Thamin Chan San Pya village in Ka Ni Township, killing four civilians and four oxen.
The deceased were identified as Ko Kyaw Thu, Ko Than Poe, U Kyi Aye, and Ma Mi Byar. Reports confirm that the attack took place despite the absence of ground clashes, forcing residents to flee the area.
The attack was carried out by a junta helicopter from the Northwestern Regional Military Command based in Monywa, which has been frequently conducting airstrikes on Thamin Chan village.
Similarly, on September 21 at about 7:30 p.m., junta LIB-15 based in Myin Chann fired Howitzer shells into Ywar Gyi village, Nwar Htoe Gyi Township.
Earlier, on September 9 at around 9:20 a.m., five gyrocopters from the Meiktila Air Force carried out aerial bombardment on Ma Kyee Kan village, also in Nwar Htoe Gyi Township, injuring five civilians, destroying two houses, and killing three oxen.

🚩🚩 7. Taw Kyee Kan Battalion (P2-9912) recruiting new comrades to join the fight

Taw Kyee Kan Battalion (P2-9912), under Operation Command No. 2 of the People’s Defense Force (PDF), Bago Region Military Command, Strategic Command 26, has announced that it is recruiting new comrades to join the armed struggle.
They stated that new comrades are welcomed to join Taw Kyee Kan Battalion in order to completely eradicate the military dictatorship and establish a genuine Federal Democratic Union.
The recruitment requires male applicants between the ages of 18 and 40, in good health, and willing to serve until the end of the revolution.
Additionally, recruits must follow the battalion’s regulations and be able to travel on their own to the designated location set by the battalion.
