📌📌 1. Meeting between FSCC, CRYH, and the Drafting Commission for the Yangon Federal Unit’s Interim Program

A coordination meeting between the Federal States and Coordinating Committee (FSCC), the Committee Representing Yangon Hluttaw (CRYH), and the Drafting Commission for the Yangon Federal Unit’s Interim Program (Draft) was held on September 25 at 6:00 p.m. via video conferencing.
The meeting was attended by Acting President Duwa Lashi La of the National Unity Government (NUG), Union Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than, Union Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Union Minister U Lwin Ko Latt of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, Union Minister Dr. Lian Mung Sar Khong of the Ministry of Federal Affairs, FSCC members, Yangon Hluttaw Speaker U Tint Lwin and CRYH members, as well as Chairman U Min Min, the Secretariat, and officials of the Drafting Commission for the Yangon Federal Unit’s Interim Program.
During the meeting, the participants discussed and exchanged views on coordination matters between the Federal Government and State/Federal Units, made suggestions, and reached agreements on the processes to be carried out moving forward.

📌📌 2. Public Awareness Program on Women and Children Conducted by NUG in Kanbalu Township

In Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, a public awareness program on women’s and children’s issues was organized during September, according to the NUG Ministry of Human Rights.
The program was conducted with the collaboration of the NUG Ministry of Human Rights, township-level human rights representatives, district human/health representatives, village Pa Ah Pha (education committee) officials, members, and local schoolteachers. A total of 15 local men and women attended.
During the session, one woman shared that women in rural areas are often vulnerable to sexual harassment due to insecurity in forest and mountain regions. She explained that when such incidents occur, survivors face social stigmatization, making it difficult to speak out.
Additionally, a female teacher from the village pointed out that while women participate significantly in the health and education sectors, men’s participation remains low. Discussions were also held on the imbalance in gender participation in different sectors.
It was noted that such awareness sessions help reveal real challenges faced by local communities on the ground, while also enhancing public knowledge. The Ministry of Human Rights announced that it will continue to conduct similar awareness activities regularly at the grassroots level.

📌📌 3. Meeting between Ward and Group Administrators Organized by PSLF/TNLA in Kutkai Town

In Kutkai Town, Ta’ang Region, Brigade (7) territory, the General Administration Department of the Palaung State Liberation Front/Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) organized a meeting with ward and group administrators, according to a PSLF/TNLA statement.
The meeting, held on September 23 at 9:00 a.m., discussed the need for maintaining village group records, reporting any human rights violations if present, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation works in both urban and rural areas.
Ward and group administrators attending the meeting also shared the difficulties and challenges they were currently facing.
A total of 20 people, including responsible officials from the Kutkai Township General Administration Department as well as relevant ward and group administrators, participated in the meeting.

📌📌 4. AA Provides Humanitarian Assistance in Maungdaw and Buthidaung Townships

From July to August 2025, the Arakan Army (AA), through the HDCO Township Office, in collaboration with donors and partner local organizations, provided humanitarian assistance to 789 Muslim households (5,004 individuals) from 10 wards/villages in Maungdaw and Buthidaung Townships that were in urgent need of aid.
The support included 429 sacks of rice, 248 tarpaulins, 6,880,000 kyats in cash, 209 packs of maternal health medicine, and 20 bags of seeds.
HDCO stated that it will continue providing emergency assistance to local populations in townships with high needs and limited access to aid, including displaced persons who have yet to receive support, in order to address urgent humanitarian requirements.

📌📌 5. Landslide Repairs on Saw–Kyaukhtu Road Carried Out by Locals after Heavy Rainfall

Following a landslide caused by heavy rains on the evening of September 25 that blocked the Saw–Kyaukhtu road, local communities have been working collectively to repair the road, according to Yaw Light.
As of the afternoon of September 26, small vehicles were able to pass through with time restrictions.
Authorities stated that because of the risk of further landslides during ongoing repair works, only motorcycles and small cars are allowed to pass at limited times, while large vehicles remain prohibited from using the route.
