📌📌 1. Acting President Duwa Lashi La: It is evident that this is not a revolution that is wandering without principles or direction

At the Mandalay Region Hluttaw Special Meeting (3/2025) held on September 16, Acting President Duwa Lashi La said it is evident that this revolution is not one that is wandering without principles or a proper plan.

He stated:
“Although the Spring Revolution is comprised of diverse ethnicities, regions, and alliances, it is evident that we are not engaging in a revolution without principles or direction. We have clear goals and objectives. Furthermore, there are well-defined, structured, and sequential processes that are being carried out. In addition, frameworks tailored to each relevant region and sector have already been established.”

The meeting was attended by Acting President Duwa Lashi La of the National Unity Government (NUG), the Chairperson of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), members of the Mandalay Region Hluttaw, invited guests from home and abroad, as well as revolutionary forces from Mandalay.

📌📌 2. Union Prime Minister proud of approval of Mandalay Interim Political Arrangement (Draft) at Mandalay Region Hluttaw Special Meeting

Union Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than expressed special pride and joy at the approval of the Mandalay Interim Political Arrangement (Draft) during the Mandalay Region Hluttaw Special Meeting.

The Mandalay Region Hluttaw Special Meeting (3/2025) was held on September 16.

He said:
“Not long ago, the Mandalay Regional Revolutionary Forces Coordination Platform was able to provisionally approve the Mandalay Interim Political Arrangement (Draft). This was achieved only through the collective efforts of all participating groups. This draft is not merely a piece of paper—it is the outcome of genuine discussions and coordination, born out of the will of the people of Mandalay and their struggles against hardships. Therefore, since this draft will now be formally ratified through parliamentary procedures at the Mandalay Region Hluttaw, as the National Unity Government, we feel a deep sense of pride and joy.”

He further added that since this is a revolution with significant investment and sacrifices, it must yield major benefits for the country’s future.

📌📌 3. Letter sent to Japanese Government urging pressure on the military junta for the immediate release and urgent medical treatment of State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi

A letter has been sent to the Japanese government urging them to pressure the military junta for the immediate release of State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and to allow her urgent medical treatment.

According to an announcement by NUG Support Team Japan on September 16, the petition—signed by Myanmar citizens—was submitted to the Japanese government demanding immediate release and medical access for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

Since the military coup of February 1, 2021, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the State Counsellor, has been unjustly detained by the junta.

📌📌 4. Committee for the Establishment of the “Independent CDM Civil Servants Organization” meets with Tanintharyi Region CDM Civil Servants Solidarity Network (TCSN)

It is reported that on September 15, the Tanintharyi Region CDM Civil Servants Solidarity Network (TCSN) held discussions with the Committee for the Establishment of the “Independent CDM Civil Servants Organization.”

During the meeting, the committee clarified the responsibilities assigned by the Second Nationwide CDM Civil Servants Conference and shared ongoing activities. They also discussed challenges faced on the ground.

The Tanintharyi TCSN representatives presented how, for over one year, they have been striving to build a bottom-up organizational structure that allows all CDM civil servants in the region to participate. They also shared plans to increase participation of Tanintharyi CDM civil servants and outlined future activities.

Additionally, discussions focused on China’s pressures in the current revolution, responses to the junta’s sham election, and intensifying public mobilization in response to reports of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s deteriorating health.

The meeting concluded successfully after two hours.

📌📌 5. Nationwide junta artillery attacks kill 12 civilians, including a girl under 18

According to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), artillery shelling by the nationwide terrorist military junta between September 1 and 16 killed 12 civilians—seven women and five men—including a girl under 18.

Among the fatalities, three were from Kayah State, three from Bago Region, and three from Sagaing Region, making these areas the most affected.

During this same period, AAPP also collected records of eight additional civilians killed by artillery attacks, whose details are still being verified.

On September 11, artillery fire launched by Infantry Battalion (102) in Demoso Township and Training School (14) in Hpruso Township struck a house in Da Byar Khu Village, killing three displaced persons—Mi Mar, Nga Yel, and Su Mar—who were sheltering there.
