📌📌 4. Yangon Revolutionary Brothers’ 4 Groups release video of anti-fake election urban protest in downtown Mandalay
September 13
A video file documenting an anti-fake election urban protest held in downtown Mandalay under the slogan “Don’t Vote for the Fascist Fake Election – Boycott” was released today, September 13, by the Yangon Revolutionary Brothers’ 4 Groups.
According to the statement, this video record shows the protest action that took place in downtown Mandalay—an area where the military council’s thuggish forces are oppressing the public—against the junta’s attempt to hold a sham election.
A protest leader urged that people must stay aware that the terrorist military is preparing to conduct an illegal election, that this does not represent a genuine political solution, and that it is merely the junta’s own fabricated outlet. Therefore, people should be vigilant and resolutely oppose it.
They further encouraged everyone to continue resisting the sham election planned by the junta.
The Yangon Revolutionary Brothers’ 4 Groups added that the people of Mandalay, who are already suffering continuous forced collections of “Pyu Laparse” donations, forced military conscriptions, arbitrary arrests, and extortion, hold deep resentment and bitterness against the fascist military council. Now, they are also expressing strong rejection and hatred toward the junta’s planned fake election.
They emphasized that in the people’s revolution, the people are the central force, and as long as public support and participation continue, the revolution will move forward. Therefore, they urged the entire public to keep “refusing to tolerate” the military council’s actions and to “respond” in every possible way against the power-mad junta.
