📌📌 1. Myanmar community in the UK prays for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health and swift release from unlawful detention

The Myanmar community in the UK prayed for the health of the State Counselor, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, and for her speedy release from unlawful detention.
On September 6, at the 4th annual Manchester Hinn Oke Gyi fundraising fair, Myanmar people living in the UK offered prayers for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health and immediate freedom.
The event was attended by Myanmar families in the UK along with U Maung Maung Aung and Dr. Thet Ko Ko, who represented the NUG in the UK, and they also delivered words of prayer.
As part of a rose-offering prayer program for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s well-being, attendees offered roses and sent letters to the UK government and parliamentarians, urging them to support her immediate release.
The Manchester Hinn Oke Gyi fair, now in its fourth year, continues to provide assistance to places in need inside Myanmar.

📌📌 2. Demonstrations in South Korea support Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun’s continued representation at the UN

Protests in support of Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun’s continued representation of Myanmar at the United Nations were held in Daegu and Gimhae cities, South Korea.
According to the NUG Representative Office in South Korea, demonstrations backing U Kyaw Moe Tun’s role as Myanmar’s Permanent Representative at the UN took place on September 7 in both Daegu and Gimhae.
In Daegu, the demonstration was held in front of the train station from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, organized by MFDMC in collaboration with the group Rise Again Myanmar. Revolutionary organizations and democracy activists also participated.
Meanwhile, in Gimhae, the Gimhae Revolutionary Organization led a demonstration from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in front of the terminal, with participation from Myanmar pro-democracy activists.
In addition, Myanmar nationals in South Korea have sent an open letter to the South Korean government, urging support for Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun’s continued recognition.

📌📌 3. San Francisco Bay Area’s 45th Nway Oo Tea Gathering raises over USD 10,000

The San Francisco Bay Area’s 45th Nway Oo Tea Gathering raised over USD 10,000 from selling homemade food and drinks, according to the organizers’ announcement on September 9.
The statement read:
“From today’s fundraising at the 45th Nway Oo Tea Gathering, including food sales and donations, we received a total of USD 11,429. We thank all the donors who contributed with cooked dishes, cash donations, potted plants, as well as all supporters and helpers.”
The Nway Oo Tea Gathering family continues to cook and sell food monthly to provide support to areas of need in Myanmar.

📌📌 4. Actor Daung’s Melbourne Live Show receives strong support; more shows to follow in other cities

Actor Daung’s Live Show in Melbourne received overwhelming support from fans, and further performances will be held in other cities.
The show was held on the night of September 7 in Melbourne. It included traditional ethnic dances as well as charity auctions to raise funds.
To continue supporting the revolution with his art, actor Daung is organizing his first major musical tour in Australia, with concerts scheduled in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
From the total proceeds of these concerts (after expenses), 90% will be donated to one of the NUG ministries most in need of funds, while the remaining 10% will be donated to the NUG’s Press and Media Unit.
