🚩🚩 1. KIA and KPDF seize a military outpost in Waingmaw Township

According to local military sources, a military outpost jointly held by the terrorist junta troops and their allied militias near Lamyang village in Waingmaw Township was seized by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and Kachin People’s Defense Force (KPDF).
The outpost was located inside the monastery compound in Lamyang village. Beginning on August 28, KIA and KPDF joint forces launched an assault and were able to seize the outpost by the evening of August 29.
During the assault, the Northern Regional Military Command attempted to resist with heavy artillery fire and provided air support to assist their ground troops, but the joint KIA–KPDF forces succeeded in capturing the position.
Local military sources reported that junta forces suffered heavy casualties, while weapons, ammunition, and military equipment were seized by the KIA and KPDF joint forces.
Although KIA has not yet released an official statement, local sources confirmed that eight junta soldiers were captured along with a stockpile of weapons and ammunition.
Reports also indicate that during the battle, three resistance fighters from the joint KIA–KPDF forces were killed in action, and five others were injured.

🚩🚩 2. Woman killed as junta aircraft drops bombs on villages in Natmauk Township

According to local sources, a woman was killed when the terrorist junta carried out a bombing raid using a paramotor aircraft on villages in Natmauk Township, Magway Region.
At 9:15 a.m. today, a paramotor aircraft that took off from Meiktila Air Base dropped bombs on a hut at a location called Thanat Pauk Kyaw between Kanthar village, Saketo village, and Kyauk O village in Natmauk Township. This was confirmed by the Natmauk Township People’s Defense Team (PaKaPha) to several local media outlets.
The attack killed one female civilian. The PaKaPha official reported that the victim was a 14-year-old girl and another man was injured. However, local residents said the woman who died was actually 26 years old.
There were no clashes taking place on the ground at the time, but the terrorist junta has been frequently launching airstrikes on villages in Natmauk Township.
The junta has been deliberately targeting civilian areas, religious sites, IDP camps, and schools with its bombing campaigns. Resistance forces have urged local people to adopt air-raid protection measures, including the digging of bomb shelters, to reduce civilian casualties.

🚩🚩 3. 34 junta soldiers killed, at least 10 injured in clash near Se Ein Su village, Yephyu Township

According to an announcement by the Ramanya Mon Army (RMA), 34 junta soldiers were killed and at least 10 others injured during a battle near Se Ein Su village in Yephyu Township, Tanintharyi Region.
The clash broke out on August 28, from 10:23 a.m. until 12:40 p.m., when the junta launched an offensive near Se Ein Su village.
The RMA reported that during the three-hour battle, junta forces suffered approximately 34 fatalities and more than 10 injuries.
The attack was countered by the RMA’s Yephyu regional battalion along with allied resistance forces. While the junta suffered heavy casualties, the RMA also reported one of its fighters was killed in action and three allied resistance fighters were wounded.
The RMA has warned that clashes may intensify in the Yephyu area as the junta continues to carry out offensives, and urged civilians to remain on high alert for security concerns.

🚩🚩 4. CDF–KKG holds graduation ceremony for its 8th basic military training course in Kale–Kabaw region

On August 28, the Kale–Kabaw regional Chin Defense Force (CDF–KKG), Battalion 3, held the graduation ceremony for its 8th basic military training course, according to a statement released on August 29.
The ceremony was attended by CDF–KKG’s Chairman, Defense Secretary, invited representatives of allied resistance forces, and other guests.
During the event, awards were presented to outstanding trainees, including recognition for exemplary performance, marksmanship, perseverance, and best military demonstration.
According to military records, CDF–KKG, together with allied forces, conducted a major operation earlier this year. Within two months (February–March), they successfully attacked and captured junta bases along the Kale–Gangaw road, including Company Base Camp, Mantaw, Aung Tharyar (East), Aung Tharyar (West), and Kyun Thar villages.

🚩🚩 5. Graduation Ceremony of the First Weekly Sniper Training Course by the Ramanya Mon Army (RMA)
August 30
The New Mon State Party – Anti-Dictatorship (NMSP-AD) / Ramanya Mon Army (RMA) held the graduation ceremony for its Sniper Training Course, Weekly Batch 1 on August 29 at a location within liberated territory, according to their announcement.
The ceremony was attended by NMSP-AD / RMA’s General Secretary Nai Banyar Lae, Deputy Major General Nai Ma Agha, instructors, and responsible officers. At the event, the graduating cadets received speeches of honor and encouragement from Nai Banyar Lae and Nai Ma Agha.
According to the RMA, outstanding trainees who excelled in the course were awarded honorary medals and recognition.
In addition, during the ceremony, respect was paid to the national flag, and tributes were offered in honor of the fallen comrades who had sacrificed their lives nobly for the revolution.
