1. The equivalent Burmese idiom will be “ထမင္းေရပူလာ လွ်ာလႊဲ” Synonyms in English are: ostrich-like policy; politics of avoidance. There is a similar saying in German language: “Vogel-Strauss-Politik” (Vogel = Bird, Strauss =Ostrich, Politik = politics; policy).
