  1. I think he is one of the Revolutionary Council ……….Saw Myint …….who deal with Nationalization of all foreigners in 60s. . robbing from chinese and indians in 1960s . right ?

    1. You shouldn’t make one sided comment without knowing his life. He served for country from the life of student to end with best effort. National liberation, defending union from insurgent( including Mugahid ), historic China- Myanmar border treaty, lead Buddhist association etc…

      1. After death everyone has to go heaven or hell. If he had done good things more, he will reach to heaven, if not to hell. God will decide.

  2. Yes,correct. He was the Revolutionary Council member. He is the one, who sack off the chief Monk from Shwe Kyaung,in Tamway, area, also.

  3. When Ko Khin Maung Myint, the late Executive Editor of Mahaythi magazine, gave me an assignment to translate an article to be conveyed by the magazine I easily accepted his offer and I did a Burmese translation for the article that had originally appeared in a Discover magazine. But my translation was not used by Mahaythi as another magazine had covered the same story one month earlier before Mahaythi was trying to publish it. Then I had nothing to say about the translation that had appeared in another magazine since magazines were competing each other in order to gain popularity among readers. However, I was refused to honor for the translation of the article that had never appeared in Mahaythi magazine. Ko Khin Maung Myint said I could claim for my royalty to Saw Myint, the chief editor though he could not do anything for me as the chief editor had already decided not to pay for my translation because Mahaythi did not used my article for publication. Finally, I talked with the chief editor face to face in his room. I simply told him I was contributing articles monthly for Mahaythi and I always get the royalty for my contribution and this time when Mahaythi failed to use my article I was not honored for the translation which was given as an assignment to me by the Executive Editor of Mahaythi. I was so surprised that the chief editor gave me a very short answer with belligerent attitude. He seemed to be no responsible to whatever matters that have arisen at the magazine house. He said at the top of his voice: “You can go and tell about this matter to anybody, I don’t care. And you will never get royalty for that article, I say. ”
His attitude never change like his mentor, Ne Win, the foremost dictator of Burma. In fact, they are birds of the same feather. They did not know about what is right and what is wrong. They gave no respect to to anyone and they look down on writers or editors. They did not believed in law and order or justice and what they only know is law of jungle. Ne Win kicked out Saw Myint from his group when he found out that his close disciple was not so honest — Saw Myint and his wife laundered their money minutes before Ne Win denominated all the 50-kyat currency notes and 100-kyat currency notes in the country.

  4. two of his grandsons , known as pho thar and pho thae were deported from Australia in 2001/2002 as they claimed themselves as refugees. Amazing.

Their grandfather is B S P P member and also Revolutionary Council . They both were refused and kicked out of Australia. They both were sons of , I think . a female doctor in children hospital in Yangon.

Just pointing out , how those sons and new generation of revolution council seeked for asylum visa in West Countries. when their father and grand father talked bad bad things about Western countries. This is only one example, I can tell u.

I think those two guys names are on this obituary news. Unbelievable.
