  2. because third world war is low probality and Burma don’t need long civil war for democratic peaceful united modern developmental real union of Burma and Burma should more attend to National people’s reconcilation & reconstructions on LDC and it’s on time to give up conservative thoughts.

  3. Right pathway for all aspects.

Sanctions are mainly for Junta and associates , not for people ; maybe there is minor collateral damage ; but how about Ne Win’s era ? More isolated and there is no chance to go out to foreign countries for work in early and middle Ne Win’s era. Ne Win era isolation was not worse than present Than Shwe era ; so conclusion should/might be due to self-damage( due to wicked Than Shwe, junta generals and their cronies mismanagement and greediness for their pockets as all knows).

Junta was/is not be afraid of inside power ; 50 years ruling with gun is proving .

They are only afraid of foreign power to which they can not lie/bully/control , actually , be afraid (because much much more powerful than their primitive weapons and brains).

Foreign pressure has two ways : soft way like sanction and hard way like supporting weapons to opposites (less likely). So, people has to hope only this soft way pressure to change; otherwise , there will be wild wolves without restraints ; sufferers are people for more many decades . Foreign powers are helping ; actually , not their matter about life and death of other country people; physical helping is also using their tax payers money .

Without this , how to tame the hell dogs generals and their cannibalic behaviors to mother Burma and its people?

So, to look from overall view and long term aspect , not to be short sighted and narrow minded.

    Understandably….

  5. “Sanction” has some bad effect on the people of Myanmar, but it is the only way that the democratic communities can show their disapproval. It was meant to help Myanmar people.
We should be able to tolerate. Changes never come without some sacrifices. When Daw Su ,NLD, 88th generations an other ethnic people are sacrificing for decades, why ordinary Myanmar people couldn’t show the the spirit of comradeship.Sanction is one of the many factors which bring the Government to the table. Sanction list is a black list. Everybody wants to cancelled its name from the black list. Now we have so called “civilian government”. They should care more about their image then the military government.
The recent improvements in Myanmar like releasing of Daw Su, political prisoners and legalizing NLD are the partially benefits of Sanction. Now I think the power of sanction is stronger then ever during Civilian Government’s tenure.

I never heard the people are revolting against Daw Su and NLD for proposing sanctions. It shows that the people are willing to sacrifice for the gain.Don;t underestimate the political IQ of the people.
