ခဏတာ ေလးမွ ျပန္ ေဖာ္ မေပး။
ရြံ႕ႏွစ္ေရေတြ
တိုက္ေျပး ျဖတ္ေျပး
အမိႈက္ အညစ္အေၾကး
ဒိုက္သေရာနဲ႔ သစ္တံုးေဆြးမ်ား
က်ေနာ့္ ေခါင္းကို တိုက္သြား ရိုက္သြား
က်ေနာ့္ မွာ မူးခ်ာလည္ရင္း
ယိမ္းထိုး ခါေန။
အသက္ရႈစရာ
ေလဟာနယ္ တကြက္မရွိ
ကိုယ့္ ကိုယ္ခႏၶာ ထဲမွာပဲ
ေလကို ရႈသြင္း ရိႈက္ထုတ္။
“သူရဲေကာင္း ဆိုတာ
ႀကိဳးစင္ အတက္၊ မ်က္ႏွာ တကြက္
မပ်က္ေစနဲ႔”။
တူရိုက္တဲ့ အခါ၊ ထုရဲ ရိုက္ႏွက္္
ရဲရဲ ရိုက္ပုတ္၊ မတြန္႔ဆုတ္နဲ႔
စိတ္ကို အားေပးရင္း။
ကိုယ္ထဲမွာ
အသက္ဟာ
ေႏွးေကြးစြာ လွည့္ေနဆဲလား
“ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ေသသြားၿပီလား”
လြတ္ေျမာက္ေရး အတြက္
အသက္နဲ႔ ေသြး၊ ေပးလွဴ စေတးထား
ေသြးခင္း လမ္းထက္က
ျပည္သူ႔ ေတာ္လွန္ေရး သမားေလ
“က်ေနာ္ အသက္ရွင္ေနဆဲလား”
မေသခ်ာ မေရရာေတာ့ဘူး။
တရက္ ႏွစ္ရက္ သံုးေလးရက္
တလ ႏွစ္လ သံုးေလးလ
ေရထဲမွာ ႏွစ္ျမဳပ္ေနရ။

ဖံုးလႊမ္းေရမ်ား၊ က်သြား ထြက္ေျပး
မိုးမခ ပင္ဟာ
ရႊံ႕ႏြံထဲက ကုန္းရုန္းထ
လွပ ေနျခည္သစ္ေအာက္မွာ
ရြက္သစ္စိမ္းေတြ ဖားလ်ား ျဖန္႔ေဝ။
အနည္းအပါးေတာ့ ယိုင္နဲ႔ သြားခဲ့၊
အနည္းအပါးေတာ့ ညွိဳးႏြမ္းသြားခဲ့ရ၊
အနည္းအပါးေတာ့ က်ိဳးပ်က္ ပဲ့ရြဲ႕သြား။
“အေသးအႏႈတ္ အဖြဲ႕ကေလးေတြ
ေရက တိုက္စားသြားခဲ့၊ သြားပါေစေလ”
ဒဏ္ရာေတြနဲ႔
ဒါေပမဲ့ ျပံဳးေနတဲ့ မ်က္ႏွာကို
မိုးထက္ ဝဠာ သို႔ ေမာ့လို႔။

ေတဇာ ကသိုဏ္းမွာ
စိမ္းလန္းမႈမ်ား ေလာင္ကၽြမ္းသြားၾက
ကႏၱာရ တံလွပ္ေတြ
မီးလွ်ံေတြလို ျမဴးကခုန္ေန။
အဲသည္ ေႏြလည္ေခါင္မွာ
ျမစ္ကမ္းယံ မိုးမခ တန္း ဟာ
အရြက္ေတြ ဖားလ်ားခ်
ေဝဆာျပလိုက္ရဲ႕
အပြင့္ ေဖြးေဖြး ေဖြးေဖြး လႈပ္လႈပ္။
ေနျခည္ရဲ႕ တံလွပ္ထဲမွာ
စိမ္းျမ နဒီထက္က ေလညင္းကို
သီခ်င္းကေလး တဖြဲ႕ ႏွစ္ဖြဲ႕
က်ေနာ္ ႏႈတ္ခြန္းေတာ္ ဆက္လိုက္ရဲ႕။

That time when they
submerged my head
in water
they did not
not even
one moment
let me
raise it up
to breathe.
Thick cream of mud
essence of mud
water
rushes over
runs over
my head.
Flotsam Jetsam
Dirt Excrement
Floating weeds.
Old rotting logs
falling
apart
hit my head
bump my head
I turn like a top
dizzy
dizzy.
I lurch
a drunken
yein
dancer.
To breathe
no air
no vacuum
to breathe.
No air.
Just within
my own
body
I breathe
IN . . .
OUT . . .
A hero
climbing
the gallows
to be hanged
does not
flinch
change
expression.
Keep smiling
every inch.
I make
myself
brave
telling myself
when you use
the hammer
strike
boldly
do not
pull bak.
In my
body
is
my
life
slowly
revolving.
Am I still alive. Am I still alive?
Ah, the great
peoples’ revolutionary
hero
who
has given his life
for freedom
has walked
the bloody
streets
for
freedom.
Am I still alive.
I am not
quite
sure.
One day
two days
three days – oh.
One month
Two months

In the water
