Slumdog Millionaire ရုပ္ရွင္ဇာတ္လမ္းက အိႏၵိယႏိုင္ငံ မြန္ဘုိင္းၿမိဳ႕(Mumbai) ဆင္းရဲသားရပ္ကြက္က အသက္ ၁၈ ႏွစ္အရြယ္ မိဘမဲ့ ကေလးတေယာက္ရဲ႕ ဘ၀ဇာတ္ေၾကာင္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သူဟာ အိႏိၵယႏိုင္ငံက “who want to be a millionaire” ၿပိဳင္ပဲြမွာ ၀င္ေရာက္ ယွဥ္ၿပိဳင္ကာ အႏိုင္ရသြားပါတယ္။ လမ္းေဘးက လူငယ္တေယာက္က ေမးခြန္းတိုင္းကို ေျဖဆိုႏိုင္တာကို အမ်ားက သံသယျဖစ္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။ လိမ္လည္ၿပီးမွ ၿပိဳင္ပြဲကို ႏိုင္ခဲ့တယ္လို႔ သူ႔ကို စြပ္စဲြၾကတယ္၊ သူ႔ကို ဖမ္းဆီး စစ္ေဆးညွင္းပန္းခဲ့တယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ့ သူ႔ရဲ႕ ဘ၀ ေနာက္ခံဇာတ္ေၾကာင္းက သူဘာေၾကာင့္ ေမးခြန္းေတြအားလံုးကို ေျဖဆိုႏိုင္ခဲ့တယ္ဆိုတာ ဇာတ္လမ္း ဆင္ထားပါတယ္။
