1. What A-may Su said is so true. Until 1962, our country was the most developed in SEA and now even Laos is better. we all know the reason- starting with Ne Win, BSPP, SLORC and SPDC- 60+years of oppression. While economy, quality of life and morale of the country and the people was brought down to -zero, unquenchable thirst for money and greed prospered. The rulers and their cronies had unprecedented access to natural resources- they sold the land, forests, resources at their will and park their wealth in Switzerland, China, Singapore and Thailand. If you have time to visit Gems Museum in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon, you won’t find national treasures like- biggest rubies, sapphires, peridot in the world. I asked and was told that they were taken by Than Shwe’s wife since 2009. Now the country has more than one thousand billion dollars debt and the compensation to pay to China for termination of Myit-sone Dam. Where do we get the money from? EASY. Confiscate bank accounts and properties of Than Shwe, Shwe Man, Maung Aye and all their cronies like Tayza, Zaw Zaw, Htay Myint, Khin Shwe, Michael Moe Myint, etc and we will have more than enough to settle debts.

2. Not also wrong that this is the country of most shameless and wicked generals in the world (should be in Guinness book of world record).
