{"id":9496,"date":"2026-06-06T13:52:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-06T07:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/moemaka.net\/eng\/?p=9496"},"modified":"2026-06-06T13:52:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-06T07:22:13","slug":"june-6-2026-m-cdm-domestic-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moemaka.net\/eng\/2026\/06\/june-6-2026-m-cdm-domestic-news\/","title":{"rendered":"June 6, 2026 (m.CDM Domestic News)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting now, we will present today\u2019s m.CDM domestic news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today\u2019s main reports include revolutionary forces capturing Pyu and police outposts in Pauk Township; a military column heading toward Rakhine being ambushed in Mindon with heavy casualties; junta airstrikes and drone attacks in Karenni areas killing a Christian pastor and injuring civilians; and TNLA denying reports that it will hand over four controlled towns to the military commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Magway Region\u2019s Pauk Township, revolutionary forces reportedly seized the Yay Pyar police station on June 2 and later captured the Kukkosu Pyu camp on June 4. More than 40 junta troops and Pyu Saw Htee members were reportedly killed, over 20 prisoners captured alive, and more than 30 weapons, including a 60mm mortar, seized. Five resistance fighters were also killed. More than 200 civilians trapped in Kukkosu village were rescued and provided medical care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Mindon Township, Magway Region, a junta column of about 1,000 troops moving toward the Rakhine Yoma was reportedly intercepted for four consecutive days by the Arakan Army and allied forces. From May 30 to June 2, more than 400 junta troops were reportedly killed and nearly 100 surrendered. The column is said to have been scattered in the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Sagaing town, a bomb exploded near the immigration office on June 5, injuring around 20 staff and civilians, including a two-year-old child. The perpetrator has not been independently confirmed. Shortly afterward, resistance forces also reportedly mined five armored junta vehicles returning to Division 33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Karenni State, junta aircraft, drones and artillery attacked civilian areas in Demoso, Hpruso and Nanmekhon. A Baptist pastor was killed and three civilians were injured. Local officials said homes were damaged in Hpruso and a woman over 50 was wounded in Nanmekhon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Bago Region\u2019s Yedashe and Okpho townships, junta troops reportedly burned villages, forcing entire communities to flee. In Ramree Township, Rakhine State, the junta also used suicide drones to bomb Lay Taung town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Pakokku Township\u2019s Myit Chay town, junta troops reportedly killed more than 40 civilians and dumped bodies around the town. Nearly 1,000 homes and shops in 15 villages and wards were burned, displacing tens of thousands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other reports include resistance forces in Sinbaungwe killing a prison officer and another prison staff member after their vehicle allegedly tried to flee inspection; NUG representatives in Japan urging continued protection visas for more than 160,000 Myanmar nationals; KNU and the Karenni IEC pledging responsible natural-resource management on World Environment Day; and Putao PDF warning vehicles on the Myitkyina\u2013Sumprabum\u2013Putao road not to carry junta supplies or Non-CDM staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TNLA spokesperson Lway Yay Oo denied reports that TNLA would return Namkham, Namtu, Monglon and Mongngawt to the military commission, saying no such discussion had taken place. Meanwhile, reports have emerged that MNDAA may hand Kutkai back to the junta, while administrative staff have reportedly begun returning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, Dr. Sasa\u2019s IPFD said international concern over Myanmar is not enough, and that practical support, civilian protection and humanitarian channels that reach people directly are urgently needed.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starting now, we will present today\u2019s m.CDM domestic news.
