We now present m.CDM domestic news.<br>Today\u2019s reports include revolutionary forces capturing Saing Pyin police station in Sagaing Region, clashes in Yenangyaung Township that killed junta troops, warnings about escalating junta airstrikes, and renewed tensions after failed talks between the TNLA and the military regime in Kunming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Revolutionary forces capture Saing Pyin police station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>PDF joint forces seized the area police station in Saing Pyin town, Depayin Township, Sagaing Region, after launching Operation OTT on May 14. The station was fully captured on May 16.<br>According to Shwebo District Battalion No. 1, 11 junta personnel were killed and a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized. The local police chief reportedly fled during the fighting, abandoning injured personnel and even family members, including a five-year-old child.<br>The revolutionary forces later destroyed the military fortifications before withdrawing. The district command said the victory was achieved not only through weapons, but also because of public cooperation and the bravery of PDF fighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Ten junta soldiers killed in Yenangyaung clashes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>Revolutionary forces attacked junta troops advancing into villages in Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region, killing 10 soldiers.<br>The fighting occurred between May 10 and 14 as junta columns moved through villages east of the township. After suffering losses, the troops reportedly retreated back into Yenangyaung town.<br>The attacks were carried out jointly by local PDF forces, Magway district drone units, and allied resistance groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Mandalay revolutionary forces discuss military and political situation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>Revolutionary groups in the Mandalay region held an online coordination meeting to discuss military and political developments in Mandalay and across Myanmar.<br>Participants discussed CDM affairs, education, healthcare, humanitarian assistance, public movements, and support for political prisoners. Around 58 representatives from seven organizations and interim governing bodies attended the meeting.<br>The groups reaffirmed their commitment to building a federal democratic union through coordinated revolutionary efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Air reconnaissance group urges real-time reporting of junta aircraft<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>The Wai Hin Air Scout network urged the public to share real-time information about junta air activity in order to help save civilian lives.<br>The group warned that under the newly appointed military commander, the junta has intensified coordinated airstrikes using multiple aircraft attacking the same targets repeatedly.<br>Citizens were encouraged to send air movement information to the network\u2019s reporting bot and to subscribe to air raid alerts for their townships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. CRPH and MDSI hold military research discussion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>The CRPH Security and Defense Committee and the Myanmar Defense and Security Institute (MDSI) jointly held an online research discussion forum.<br>During the three-hour meeting, MDSI presented research findings and battlefield assessments, while lawmakers and committee members exchanged views and questions. Around 130 parliament representatives attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Chin organizations call for emergency defense funding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>The Chin People\u2019s Union (CPU) called on Chin communities abroad to contribute emergency funds for the defense of Chin State.<br>Following the junta\u2019s capture of Falam and troop movements toward southern Chin State, CPU warned that fighting is intensifying in areas such as Kanpetlet and Mindat.<br>The organization urged overseas Chin communities, including those in Singapore and the Middle East, to donate money to support revolutionary fighters and displaced civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. HRW accuses AA of mass killings in Buthidaung<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>Human Rights Watch released a report accusing the Arakan Army (AA) of massacring more than 170 Rohingya Muslim civilians and burning villages in Buthidaung Township, Rakhine State, during fighting in 2024.<br>HRW said the attacks may constitute war crimes. The group identified over 170 people as dead or missing, including around 90 children.<br>The report also alleged forced labor and restrictions on survivors in temporary camps. AA has previously denied targeting civilians, saying it only attacked military and armed Rohingya groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Junta demands return of four TNLA-controlled towns in Kunming talks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>At secret talks held in Kunming, China, on May 12\u201313, the military regime reportedly demanded that the TNLA return four northern Shan towns\u2014Namkham, Namtu, Monglon, and Mongngaw\u2014within one month.<br>TNLA rejected the demand, saying it exceeded what could be negotiated, and the talks ended without agreement.<br>The failed discussions have raised concerns that military tensions could escalate again in northern Shan State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Justice For Myanmar welcomes U.S. action against British yacht company<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>m.CDM, May 19<br>Justice For Myanmar welcomed U.S. action against British luxury yacht company Sunseeker for illegally importing Myanmar teak in violation of sanctions and the U.S. Lacey Act.<br>The company agreed to pay fines after admitting the use of illegal Myanmar timber. JFM said the teak trade continues to provide income to the military regime through the state-controlled Myanmar Timber Enterprise (MTE).<br>The group called on the U.S., EU, UK, and other governments to impose stronger sanctions, investigate banks facilitating timber payments, and ban Myanmar timber imports entirely.<br>These reports were provided by Ko Thit and Lu Lay.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello.
