From this time onward, we will be reading and presenting m.CDM\u2019s domestic news.<br>The news we will present today includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In Natmauk, two Pyu Saw Htee members were shot dead, while an underage Pyu member was released; eight junta troops were killed in an attack on a military column near the Myothit\u2013Natmauk border.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CRPH says the Arakan Army\u2019s firm leadership is a good model for revolutionary forces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The KSCC and IEC urge all Kayan people to join together for the complete destruction of the military dictatorship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The KIO\/KIA held a mass wedding ceremony for 60 staff and military officer couples at its Laiza headquarters.<br>These and other stories will be presented.<br>\u2e3b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two Pyu Saw Htee members killed in Natmauk, underage Pyu member released; eight junta troops killed in attack near Myothit\u2013Natmauk border<br>m.CDM, April 10, 2026<br>In Natmauk Township, Magway Region, two Pyu Saw Htee members were ambushed and killed, and during fighting near the Myothit\u2013Natmauk border, eight junta troops, including a captain, were killed, according to a statement by Thayet District Battalion No. 3 (Nga Pyae Ma Guerrilla Force).<br>On April 7, three Pyu Saw Htee members\u2014said to be followers of Pyu leader Khin Maung Htay from Pitaung Ngote (Pyu) village in Natmauk Township\u2014reportedly came to attend a wedding in Gway Chaung village.<br>On April 8 at around 1:30 p.m., they were ambushed on their way back from the wedding, and two Pyu Saw Htee members, Aung Htay Lwin and Aye Zaw, were killed.<br>The two were reportedly involved in forced porter recruitment, extortion, burning civilian homes, and the brutal killing of innocent civilians in the area.<br>During the incident, a 14-year-old Pyu Saw Htee member, Maung Wai Yan, allegedly tried to counterattack using a hand grenade from his shoulder bag, but revolutionary fighters managed to capture and restrain him in time.<br>Because he was underage, his life was spared, and he was released after being warned not to cooperate again with junta forces and advised to continue his education properly.<br>Three mobile phones, one damaged laptop, and one hand grenade were reportedly seized from the three Pyu members.<br>Similarly, on April 8, a junta military column of around 50 troops conducting patrol operations between Myothit Township and Natmauk Township was also attacked by a revolutionary alliance force.<br>During the battle, eight junta troops, including a captain with three stars, were reportedly seen dead, and many others were wounded.<br>The attack was jointly carried out by the Nga Pyae Ma Guerrilla Force and Natmauk Pa Ka Pha. One revolutionary fighter was killed and another suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<br>Previously, on April 1, another junta column of more than 80 troops coming out of KaPaSa (17) was ambushed between Myothit and Natmauk, and three MA magazine clips and 90 rounds of 5.56 ammunition were seized.<br>\u2e3b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Junta convoy hit by landmine attack on Monywa\u2013Chaung-U road; one driver killed<br>m.CDM, April 10, 2026<br>A junta convoy traveling from the Northwestern Regional Military Command (Na Ma Kha) toward Division 33 in Sagaing was hit in a landmine attack somewhere along the Monywa\u2013Chaung-U road in Sagaing Region, according to Area71 LPDF Monywa.<br>At 10:07 a.m. on April 10, the convoy of eight armored vehicles carrying full troop strength was attacked with four mines detonated simultaneously at one point after resistance forces had lain in wait.<br>As a result of the explosion, the second vehicle in the convoy was hit and temporarily stopped, and resistance forces confirmed that the driver was killed.<br>Despite multiple junta ambush positions posted along the road, the revolutionary forces reportedly watched for an opening and carried out the attack. After the blast, the troops in the convoy vehicles and those in the ambush positions indiscriminately fired small arms to both sides of the road.<br>The attack was jointly carried out by Area71 LPDF Monywa, the Monywa Township People\u2019s Defense Mine Unit, and the Taw Kywel Gyi Guerrilla Force, which reportedly withdrew safely without casualties.<br>\u2e3b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KNU announces completion of the formation of the Kawthoolei Consultative Council and Kawthoolei Governing Council<br>m.CDM, April 10<br>The KNU Central Committee announced on April 10 that, after approving the Kawthoolei Revolutionary Period Charter, it had completed the formation of the Kawthoolei Consultative Council and the Kawthoolei Governing Council.<br>The announcement said that the two councils were formed during the Kawthoolei Federal Unit Building Discussion Meeting, held from March 31 to April 2.<br>The draft of the Kawthoolei Revolutionary Period Charter, which had taken more than two years to prepare, was reportedly approved after detailed discussions and negotiations among 58 of the 65 representatives present, including 41 male and 17 female representatives, together with the charter drafting team members.<br>At the same time as the charter was approved, the Kawthoolei Consultative Council (KCC) and the Kawthoolei Governing Council (KGC) were established in accordance with Chapter 3, Sections 3 and 4 of the charter.<br>The KNU Central statement said that the charter was formally approved through broad discussion, negotiation, and collective effort, and that the KCC and KGC were formed accordingly.<br>The KCC will be responsible for guiding the building of the Kawthoolei federal unit in a way that strengthens representation in the relevant areas and ensures the provision of necessary recommendations and technical support. The names of the initial KCC members have reportedly been approved.<br>The KGC, meanwhile, will begin with seven of the KNU\u2019s current 12 administrative departments and will be responsible for expanding participation and building stronger, more effective departments in line with good governance standards.<br>In addition, a Department of Women, Youth, and Children\u2019s Affairs has been added as the KGC\u2019s eighth department, and the names of the initial heads of all eight departments have also reportedly been approved.<br>The statement said this marks the opening of a new chapter for Kawthoolei and that, while building the Kawthoolei federal unit, it will connect with other federal units and continue the struggle against military dictatorship on all fronts.<br>The newly approved Kawthoolei Revolutionary Period Charter will also be released for public study, and the KNU Central Committee said it will democratically implement a self-determined Kawthoolei federal unit.<br>\u2e3b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MDY PDF says it has exposed the military\u2019s intelligence mechanism and will take firm action against former comrades involved<br>m.CDM, April 10, 2026<br>The People\u2019s Defense Force Mandalay (Special Operations Unit) has announced that it has uncovered the terrorist junta\u2019s intelligence mechanisms and warned former comrades involved in the network to withdraw immediately, or face decisive action if they continue participating.<br>The Mandalay PDF (Special Operations Unit) said it has consistently worked to build extensive intelligence networks and prevent the military\u2019s counterintelligence activities, and that in June 2025 it managed to recapture a comrade who had defected to the military side.<br>That former comrade had reportedly switched sides after being recruited by the junta and was later captured while being sent into resistance-controlled territory to gather intelligence.<br>Based on the former comrade\u2019s testimony and information from urban-based intelligence networks, the resistance said it was able to understand how the junta\u2019s intelligence mechanism operates.<br>As a result, those involved in the military\u2019s intelligence system have reportedly been identified and placed on a blacklist.<br>The statement also warned former comrades who have become involved in the junta\u2019s mechanisms under coercion or pressure to correct their mistakes and leave the enemy\u2019s system as soon as possible.<br>It explicitly stated that anyone who ignores this warning and continues to remain involved in the enemy\u2019s mechanism will be dealt with firmly.<br>\u2e3b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CRPH says the Arakan Army\u2019s firm leadership is a good example for revolutionary forces<br>m.CDM, April 10<br>The Committee Representing the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) has stated that the Arakan Army\u2019s disciplined organization and decisive leadership are inspiring and serve as a strong model for all revolutionary forces.<br>CRPH praised the Arakan Army not only for achieving major military and political successes in the Arakan region, but also for standing firmly on the front lines alongside allied forces in the nationwide struggle to end military dictatorship, while systematically establishing a people\u2019s administrative system in Arakan.<br>It also paid tribute to the Arakan martyrs and heroes who have sacrificed their lives, blood, and sweat throughout the AA\u2019s 17-year revolutionary journey, as well as to the Arakan fighters currently battling the military dictatorship on various fronts.<br>CRPH said that the Arakan Army and Arakan people\u2019s aspirations for self-determination and justice are an important component of the revolutionary forces\u2019 shared goal of building a federal democratic union.<br>It added that all revolutionary forces must unite their separate strengths into one collective force and stand together toward their common objective; only then can they build a federal democratic union that cannot be destroyed not only by the terrorist military dictatorship but by any force.<br>Therefore, the CRPH declared that it will continue marching hand in hand with the Arakan Army and all allied revolutionary forces, based on mutual understanding, trust, and respect, until the military dictatorship is uprooted.<br>The Arakan Army was founded on April 10, 2009, in Laiza, Kachin State, by 26 young people, with the aim of building a strong force based on the Rakhita path so that they could shape their own destiny and secure self-determination and freedom.<br>\u2e3b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MNDAA and TNLA praise unity between Rakhine people and the Arakan Army, pledge to continue working together until revolutionary goals are achieved<br>m.CDM, April 10<br>The brotherhood alliance forces MNDAA and TNLA praised the Arakan Army and the Rakhine people, saying that the capture and administration of nearly all towns in Rakhine State is the result of their unbreakable unity and collective effort. In the list of union ministers, 21 former military officers reportedly account for as much as 70 percent.<br>Likewise, most regional and state chief ministers, as well as the chair of the Naypyidaw Council, continue to be former military officers.
