Equipment and ammunition worth over 15 million kyats were destroyed.<br>According to reports, extreme heat triggered the ignition, which spread to 40mm and 60mm munitions, causing a powerful explosion. Although personnel attempted to contain the fire, they were forced to retreat due to the risk of further detonations.<br>The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment. Authorities have appealed for public support to rebuild the damaged facility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Military Offensive in Kyaukkyi District Displaces Over 3,000 Civilians<br>March 21 \u2013 Bago Region<br>More than 3,000 civilians have been displaced in Kyaukkyi District, under KNU Brigade 3, following a military offensive involving airstrikes and heavy artillery.<br>The operation began on March 17, forcing residents from at least 10 villages to flee. Subsequent shelling on March 18 damaged homes, while a drone strike injured a 36-year-old woman in Saw Htee Township.<br>Airstrikes on March 19 and 20 further injured civilians and destroyed vehicles. Four civilians were reported injured in total.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Airstrikes Target Schools, Monasteries, and IDP Sites Across Multiple Regions<br>March 21<br>Air and artillery attacks were reported in several townships including Taungtha (Mandalay), Kani (Sagaing), Minhla (Bago), and Yebyu (Tanintharyi).<br>A monastery in Taungtha Township was bombed, destroying most of its buildings, though monks had evacuated in advance. Similar attacks in Kani Township damaged a school and monastery, injuring some monks.<br>In Minhla Township, an IDP site was struck by a jet fighter, injuring civilians. In Yebyu Township, shelling killed two civilians and seriously injured a child under 10.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over 80 Soldiers Killed in Yinmabin Clashes, Weapons Seized<br>March 21 \u2013 Sagaing Region<br>Joint resistance forces launched coordinated attacks against a military column operating in Yinmabin Township for over a month.<br>According to local defense sources, approximately 80 soldiers were killed and at least 60 injured. Resistance forces also seized weapons and military equipment.<br>Despite repeated airstrikes and drone attacks by the military, resistance fighters maintained their positions. However, five resistance members were killed and seven injured during the clashes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drone Attack Targets Military-Backed Parliament Meeting in Hakha<br>March 21 \u2013 Chin State<br>A drone attack targeted a military-organized state parliament meeting in Hakha, the capital of Chin State.<br>The attack coincided with the opening day of the meeting on March 20. Video footage released by local defense groups shows drones striking areas near the assembly site, including parked vehicles.<br>Casualties remain unconfirmed, and no official statement has been issued by the military.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ceasefire Agreement Reached Between MNDAA and TNLA<br>March 21 \u2013 Northern Shan State<br>The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and the Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) have reached a ceasefire agreement following recent territorial clashes.<br>Talks held from March 17 to 20 resulted in a five-point agreement, including cessation of hostilities, prisoner exchanges, and continued alliance cooperation.<br>Under the agreement, MNDAA will retain control of Kutkai Township. However, some territorial disputes remain unresolved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Military Convoy Ambushed on Myeik\u2013Tanintharyi Road<br>March 21 \u2013 Tanintharyi Region<br>Resistance forces ambushed military vehicles traveling between Myeik and Tanintharyi on March 18.<br>Two vehicles were damaged in the initial attack, followed by a second ambush targeting a convoy of seven vehicles later that day. A firefight lasting about 30 minutes ensued. Casualties remain unconfirmed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nearly 200 Landmines Cleared in Rathedaung Township<br>March 21 \u2013 Rakhine State<br>Around 200 landmines and several unexploded ordnance were recovered in Rathedaung Township during clearance operations between March 17 and 19.<br>The mines, reportedly planted by military forces, were found in villages, roadsides, and farmland. Authorities warn that civilians remain at risk from unexploded devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seized Drugs Destroyed in Myeik District<br>March 21 \u2013 Tanintharyi Region<br>Resistance forces in Myeik District destroyed 8,300 methamphetamine tablets and related materials.<br>The drugs were confiscated during operations conducted between 2025 and March 2026. Officials stated their continued commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring public safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>21CM to Provide Prosthetic Limbs to 65 Injured Fighters<br>March 21<br>The organization \u201c21st Century Martyrs (21CM)\u201d announced it will provide prosthetic limbs to 65 injured fighters.<br>Funding from the sale of limited-edition sunglasses (over 1.7 million Thai baht) will support the initiative.
