  1. Of 11 civilians from Tanse Township arrested at San Pae Nan Thar checkpoint in Kantbalu, 4 executed, 2 manage to escape<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Four out of 11 civilians from Tanse Township who were arrested at the notorious San Pae Nan Thar checkpoint in Kantbalu Township have been killed, and two others managed to escape, according to the group Kyundaw Kantbalu Activists \u2013 Kantbalu District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All 11, including the driver, were traveling in a passenger vehicle running the Hpakant\u2013Tanse route when they were pulled off and arrested at San Pae Nan Thar checkpoint in Kantbalu Township on the morning of November 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All 11 are from Tanse Township \u2013 nine men and two elderly women, the grandmother and great-grandmother of one of the men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    They were passengers coming from Hpakant in a Pajero car at around 10 a.m. on November 24, according to the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A 21-year-old man who escaped said those detained had their hands tied behind their backs with rope, were beaten with wet bamboo sticks, kicked repeatedly, and forced to kneel on the ground in the checkpoint compound the whole day without being given food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He said the junta troops shot and killed the driver, Ko Min Htike, already on the evening of the arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the morning of November 29, three people from Chaung Sone village, one from Deepeyin, and one from Be Yain New Village were brought by car from the Tan Po checkpoint side. When the car stopped, they used knives they found inside the vehicle to cut the ropes and fled, he said. Three of them were recaptured and then killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cI myself don\u2019t know the way very well, so I circled near the checkpoint area. I even slept one night in a trench they dug. I only left just before dawn. When I reached the main road and tried to flag down vehicles, none of them helped. That really made me feel very bad,\u201d the 21-year-old man who escaped said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Kyundaw Kantbalu Activists \u2013 Kantbalu District and the Infinity Group, which report local news, have warned civilians traveling on key routes in Kantbalu Township to avoid using these roads without checking conditions with local networks<\/em>. They especially urge young people and those of working age that if they must travel urgently, they should first inquire through local networks about safer alternate routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. \u201cNO VOTE\u201d anti-election protest held in downtown Yangon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    On Yaw Min Gyi Road, one of the main streets in downtown Yangon, the youth civic group Yae Bawel Public Benefit Youth Organization held a protest against the sham election, carrying \u201cNO VOTE\u201d placards to urge people not to vote and to oppose military dictatorship, according to a statement from the group OCTOPUS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    They said that post-coup elections have become a routine tool for the military:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Working for the benefit of countries that stand to gain from the military, such as China and Russia,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • And serving only to deceive the world by claiming \u201cwe are holding democratic elections,\u201d much like the online scam \u201ctiger farms\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      The group also noted that the five years of military rule have brought:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Widespread repression,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Arrests and killings,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • And many other harmful consequences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Yae Bawel Youth added that if anyone believes the military has brought some national benefit, they are invited to come forward and present their evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        They stressed that although this process is called an \u201celection,\u201d in reality there is no meaningful choice<\/em>. The parties that appear on the ballot \u2013 the military-backed USDP and others like Thet Thet Khine\u2019s party, Ko Ko Gyi\u2019s party and Ta Sa Nya \u2013 are already filled with \u201cmilitary uniforms in civilian clothes,\u201d and they helped enable the coup. Therefore, people widely regard this as a sham election<\/em>, the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        They also pointed to the earlier boast by junta chief Min Aung Hlaing that \u201cthere is nothing I dare not do,\u201d and the subsequent reckless actions that followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Yae Bawel Youth urged people to treat this moment as the time to leave a historical record<\/em> that they did not participate, did not vote, and did not forget the crimes of the junta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        They emphasized that not voting is also a citizen\u2019s right<\/em>, and called on people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Not to check voter lists,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Not to vote,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • And to prioritize their own safety by ensuring that no one else knows they are not voting,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          using their ingenuity to creatively boycott and resist<\/em> the sham election \u2014 not only in Yangon but across the entire country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          3. Two Pakokku-based units join the Anyar Myay Joint Forces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Two resistance units based in Pakokku District, Magway Region \u2013 God of Myaing<\/em> and Eagle Fighter<\/em> \u2013 have officially joined the Anyar Myay Joint Forces<\/em>, according to a statement from the Joint Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The two units signed and formally entered the Anyar Myay Joint Forces on December 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The Anyar Myay Joint Forces were founded on June 19, 2024 by M.U.G.D.F, Zarmani Guerrilla Force, TSDNGF, JAMES BOND, and Our Brothers Guerrilla Force<\/em>, initially as an alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Current leadership of the Anyar Myay Joint Forces is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
