Ceasefire Agreement Between Military Commission Forces and TNLA; TNLA Troops to Withdraw from Mogok and Moemeik, While MDY PDF and Mogok Strategic Command Announce Continued Defense of Liberated Territories<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Palaung State Liberation Front\/Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (PSLF\/TNLA) announced on October 29 that a ceasefire agreement had been signed between the Military Commission forces and TNLA, mediated by the Chinese Special Envoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, the ceasefire agreement was reached during the 9th round of talks held in Kumein City from October 27 to 28 between a delegation led by TNLA\u2019s Deputy Commander-in-Chief Tar Jote Jar and another delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief Ko Ko Oo from the National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee (NSPNC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting from October 29, both sides agreed to halt all armed engagements at their respective positions. Under the agreement, TNLA forces will withdraw from Mogok and Moemeik Townships within the specified period, while the Myanmar military agreed to cease all aerial bombings and ground offensives in the Ta-ang region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the People\u2019s Defense Force (Mandalay) \u2014 MDY PDF \u2014 announced its firm commitment to continue defending and safeguarding the territories under its control in cooperation with allied revolutionary forces, pledging to exert all possible strength and intelligence to protect them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MDY PDF operates under the command of the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG) and has been active since June 2024. During the Shan-Mong military operation, it captured and took control of several areas in the Mandalay Region, including Thabeikkyin, Singu, and Madaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, the Mogok Strategic Command, which comprises PDF battalions based in and around Mogok, declared that regardless of challenges ahead, they would continue their revolutionary march and fight on, addressing the people of Mogok who dearly love their city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the numerous brutalities, oppression, and atrocities committed by the terrorist military regime, the revolutionary forces based in Mogok reaffirmed their unwavering determination to keep advancing in the revolution until complete victory is achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the time when revolutionary forces seized control of Mogok, local revolutionary groups such as MDY PDF, Mogok Strategic Command, TRI Strategic Command, BPLA, and PLA joined forces with TNLA in coordinated offensives against Military Commission camps in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Five-Year-Old Child Killed and Two Civilians Seriously Injured by Junta Shelling in Pauktaw Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Taung Nyo Village, Pauktaw Township, Rakhine State, artillery fire by junta troops stationed in Sittwe City killed a five-year-old child and seriously injured two civilians, according to APM News Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 2:00 p.m. on October 29, junta forces based in Sittwe fired at least five artillery shells toward the Pauktaw Township area. One shell struck Taung Nyo Village, hitting a young child in the head, killing her instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deceased was identified as&nbsp;<strong>Ma Zing Cho Ei (age 5)<\/strong>, daughter of&nbsp;<strong>U Nay Zaw Tun<\/strong>&nbsp;from Taung Nyo Village. The two injured victims were her father,&nbsp;<strong>U Nay Zaw Tun (age 30)<\/strong>, and another villager,&nbsp;<strong>U Maung Sein Win (age 66)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports indicate that&nbsp;<strong>U Nay Zaw Tun<\/strong>&nbsp;sustained severe injuries to his left arm, while&nbsp;<strong>U Maung Sein Win<\/strong>&nbsp;suffered serious wounds on both legs. Fierce Clashes Between Junta Forces and Chin Defense Force (CDF) Near Thoingin Village, Tedim Township; Airstrikes Carried Out on Thoingin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fierce fighting erupted near&nbsp;<strong>Thoingin Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Siyin Area<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tedim Township<\/strong>, Chin State, as junta troops\u2014numbering over a hundred\u2014advanced in two separate columns to encircle the area, according to local reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clashes began around&nbsp;<strong>2:30 p.m. on October 29<\/strong>, when junta forces launched coordinated assaults with approximately&nbsp;<strong>200 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;advancing from the&nbsp;<strong>Mualpi direction<\/strong>&nbsp;and another&nbsp;<strong>200 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Tedim toward Thoingin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, around&nbsp;<strong>11:30 p.m. on October 28<\/strong>, junta forces carried out an aerial bombing raid on&nbsp;<strong>Thoingin Village<\/strong>, dropping&nbsp;<strong>two 500-pound bombs<\/strong>, which injured one civilian woman and destroyed several houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to ongoing clashes, the Chin Defense Force\u2013CDM Siyin announced that motorcycle routes between&nbsp;<strong>Kalay<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Tedim<\/strong>&nbsp;have been temporarily closed since&nbsp;<strong>October 27<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Clash Erupts in Sartaung Township as Terrorist Junta Column Burns Villages; Two Soldiers Killed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Sartaung Moe Kywe PDF<\/strong>&nbsp;reported that around&nbsp;<strong>3:00 p.m. on October 27<\/strong>, a junta military column conducted an airstrike with&nbsp;<strong>two helicopters<\/strong>&nbsp;originating from&nbsp;<strong>Namkham<\/strong>, targeting&nbsp;<strong>Thein Chaung Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in the northern part of&nbsp;<strong>Sartaung Township<\/strong>, Sagaing Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the airstrike, junta forces also set fire to and destroyed houses in&nbsp;<strong>Ku Gyi Kone Village<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the aerial assault, a column of approximately&nbsp;<strong>150 junta troops<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>soldiers, police, and Pyu Saw Htee militia<\/strong>, advanced into the area. The&nbsp;<strong>Sartaung Moe Kywe People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF)<\/strong>, together with local revolutionary forces, launched a counteroffensive to repel the advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the confrontation,&nbsp;<strong>two junta soldiers were killed<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>two MA-1 assault rifles<\/strong>&nbsp;were seized, according to reports from the resistance forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Three Junta Soldiers Killed in Attack on Military Commission Column Near Dawei; Drone Bomb Strikes on Junta Base in Nyin Htway Village, Yebyu Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Dawei National Liberation Army (DNLA)<\/strong>&nbsp;announced that three junta soldiers were killed in an ambush on a&nbsp;<strong>Military Commission column<\/strong>&nbsp;traveling near&nbsp;<strong>Dawei City<\/strong>&nbsp;in Tanintharyi Region, while separate drone bomb attacks targeted junta troops stationed in&nbsp;<strong>Nyin Htway Village<\/strong>, Yebyu Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>October 22<\/strong>, a combined force composed of the&nbsp;<strong>Duraka Column<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Dawn Unit (7)<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>Aedinmu Guerrilla Unit<\/strong>&nbsp;under DNLA attacked a junta patrol column returning from road clearance operations near Dawei. Armed Clash Between Combined Revolutionary Forces and Junta Troops Near Lay Mile Village, Tanintharyi Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Myeik District Battalion No. 2<\/strong>&nbsp;reported that a clash broke out near&nbsp;<strong>Lay Mile Village<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Township<\/strong>, between combined revolutionary forces and junta troops occupying a local position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fighting began around&nbsp;<strong>2:10 p.m. on October 28<\/strong>, involving joint forces from&nbsp;<strong>Myeik District Battalion 2 (Unit 1)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Battalion 3 (Unit 2)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>KNDO Battalion 7 (Unit 3)<\/strong>, as well as&nbsp;<strong>Pa Ka Pha units<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Myeik District<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Myeik Township<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports indicate that one junta officer was among those killed or wounded during the battle.
